The interactive educational program features two distinct afternoon showcases, scheduled for 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM.
Designed to inspire the next generation of environmental stewards, the presentations introduce families to a remarkable lineup of rescued and non-releasable animals.
Attendees will get an up-close look at fascinating species, including a nocturnal kinkajou and a prehensile-tailed porcupine, while learning about global biodiversity.
Beyond the excitement of seeing exotic creatures, the presentation carries a vital message about habitat protection and ecological balance.
Biologists and handlers will guide the audience through the specific survival adaptations of each animal ambassador, emphasizing how human choices impact wild environments.
By grounding complex environmental science in an intimate, neighborhood setting, the library team hopes to foster lifelong habits of local preservation and global respect.
