On Thursday, Aug. 1, 2024, the tent housing the South Pasadena Tournament of Roses float was installed in the parking lot of the War Memorial Building. Erected every year, the structure protects the float as it is being built and decorated and measures 40×60 feet and is 33 feet tall.
Work can now begin on the city’s 2025 Rose Parade entry, “Seas the Day.” South Pasadena’s float will ride down Colorado Boulevard Jan. 1, 2025, in the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade. The “Best Day Ever!” is the 2025 Rose Parade theme. Go to sptor.org/Volunteer to volunteer. Construction crew members are needed now.
