South Pasadena’s summer concert series comes to an end Sunday as the Blue Breeze Band performs R&B at Garfield Park.
Entertainment is scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m., concluding with the fifth of five musical events in front of appreciative audiences.
Previously, the concerts, slated every other weekend, featured Escape: The Journey Tribute on June 16, the Louie Cruz Beltran Latin Jazz Band on June 30, the Wise Guys Big Band Machine on July 14 and The Kings of 88 performing classic piano rock on July 28.
Donations from sponsors made the concert series possible.
Organizers from the city encourage residents and visitors to the city to put together a picnic-style dinner, grab a blanket, some lounge chairs and head for the park for a night of music and dancing on Sunday night. Food and beverage will also be on sale at the concert
