Authorities are investigating the death of a man found unresponsive in a residential area of South Pasadena on Thursday morning.
At approximately 10:00 a.m. on February 27, South Pasadena Police Department (SPPD) dispatchers received a 911 call reporting a medical emergency in the 600 block of Stoney Drive. The call was relayed to the Verdugo Fire Communications Center, which dispatched paramedics and fire personnel to the scene.
Despite life-saving efforts by first responders, the man was pronounced dead at the location. Paramedics requested police officers to respond and assume the investigation.
SPPD officials stated that there were no signs of foul play, and the death is not considered suspicious at this time.
