South Pasadena Police Department Report:
On September 6, 2020, at approximately 6:00 P.M., officers from the South Pasadena Police Department responded to the Foothill Gold Line Station at 905 Meridian Avenue for a report of a person possibly in need of medical attention.
Officers and South Pasadena Fire Department personnel arrived within minutes and located an unconscious female laying on a platform bench. Medical attention was immediately provided; however, the subject never regained consciousness and died at the scene.
Given the location of the occurrence, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department was notified and took over the investigation. At this time there does not appear to be any foul play suspected.
