IDENTITY THEFT/CREDIT CARD FRAUD/CHECK FRAUD

• 9-24-19, 11:18 AM to 11:19 AM, 900 block of Fair Oaks. Suspect deposits a fraudulent check containing victim’s banking information.

• 9-10-19, 11:20 AM, 1700 block of Mission. Suspect(s) make unauthorized charges with victim’s bank card. Suspect(s) also use victim’s personal information to apply for a loan. FRAUD

• 9-26-19, 1:05 PM to 1:55 PM, 600 block of Monterey. Suspect calls victim and claims to be a representative from the Department of Water and Power. Suspect threatens to cut power to victim’s residence unless victim deposits money into bitcoin machines. Victim complies with suspect’s demands.

• 9-27-19, 6:20 PM to 6:21 PM, 700 block of Fair Oaks. Suspect pays for his meal with counterfeit bills. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male, Black, late 20’s, 5’09”, 130 lbs, shaved black hair, light brown eyes, wearing a black tshirt, dark jeans, and a silver chain necklace.

DRUNK IN PUBLIC

  • 9-25-19, 8:10 PM to 8:23 PM, 1000 block of Fair Oaks. Officer on patrol contacts subject loitering near a business. Subject is found to be under the influence of alcohol and unable to care for himself. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Black, 54 years, South Pasadena.

PROWLING

  • 9-26-19, 7:14 AM to 7:51 AM, 1700 block of Mission. Officers respond to a call of suspicious subjects attempting to enter an apartment complex. Officers locate suspects and suspects are found to be in possession of a knife and another in possession of a screwdriver. SUSPECTS ARRESTED: S1 – Male, White, 19 years, S2 – Male, White, 23 years, Palmdale.

THEFT

• 9-26-19, 9:42 AM to 10:47 AM, 1300 block of Huntington. ’16 Honda Accord. Suspect(s) enter victim’s unlocked vehicle and take loss. LOSS: Checks, miscellaneous paperwork.

• 9-26-19, 10:00 PM to 11:18 PM, 400 block of Fair Oaks. Suspect takes loss while victim is sleeping. LOSS: iPhone.

• 9-27-19, 1:19 PM to 1:28 PM, 1100 block of Fair Oaks (Vons). Suspect enters store and employee sees suspect take loss and leave store without paying. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male, Black, wearing a white shirt with a pink stripe and black shorts. LOSS: Alcohol, food items.

• 9-28-19, 8:38 PM to 8:53 PM, 1100 block of Fair Oaks (Vons). Suspect enters store and employee sees suspect take loss and leave store without paying. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male, Hispanic, 25 – 30 years, bald, tattoos on face, neck, and arms, wearing all black clothing. LOSS: Hygiene products.

• 9-29-19, 11:00 PM to 9-30-19, 6:30 AM, 900 block of Arroyo. Suspect(s) enter victim’s unlocked garage and take loss. LOSS: Bicycle.

• 9-29-19, 9:00 PM to 9-30-19, 6:30 AM, 900 block of Arroyo. Suspect(s) enter victim’s unlocked garage and cut lock securing loss. LOSS: Bicycle.

• 9-29-19, 9:00 PM to 9-30-19, 8:30 AM, 900 block of Arroyo. ’19 Toyota Prius. Suspect(s) gain entry into victim’s unlocked vehicle. LOSS: Miscellaneous items.

• 9-30-19, 8:47 PM to 9:08 PM, 1100 block of Fair Oaks (Vons). Suspect enters store and employee sees suspect take loss and exit without paying. Officers locate suspect walking away from store. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Black, 35 years, Los Angeles. LOSS: Alcohol.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

  • 9-10-19, 1:00 AM to 8:00 AM, 1500 block of Meridian. Suspect(s) enter victim’s unlocked garage and takes loss from victim’s unlocked vehicle. LOSS: Bank cards.

POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

  • 9-28-19, 3:21 AM to 4:37 AM, 600 block of Fremont. Officer conducts a traffic stop and finds suspect to be in possession of cocaine and stolen property. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, White, 27 years, Los Angeles.

DISTURBING THE PEACE

  • 9-28-19, 9:09 AM to 9:44 AM, 1200 block of Indiana. Victim asks suspect to leave her property after suspect knocks on victim’s neighbor’s door for an extended period of time. Suspect refuses to leave. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, White, 23 years, San Dimas.

TRANSPORTATION FOR SALES

  • 9-29-19, 9:39 PM to 10:29 PM, 1700 block of Garfield. Officer conducts a traffic stop and finds suspect to be in possession of cocaine for transportation. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, White, 21 years, Bell Gardens.

AUTO BURGLARY

  • 9-29-19, 9:00 PM to 9-30-19, 6:30 AM, 900 block of Arroyo. ’13 Ford Focus. Suspect(s) shatter victim’s car window to gain entry. LOSS: Miscellaneous items.

STOLEN VEHICLE

  • 9-30-19, 5:36 PM to 7:11 PM, 400 block of Fairview. ’97 Ford E150.
