• _1-18-18, 6:05 p.m. to 6:15 p.m., 1000 block of Lohman. Suspect takes victim’s unattended loss. Loss: Guitar case.

• _1-19-18, 6:30 a.m. to 6:40 a.m., 1700 block of Wayne. ’14 Subaru Outback. Suspect takes loss from victim’s unlocked vehicle. Suspect Description: Male, Hispanic or Asian, 30s, wearing a straw hat and light colored shorts. Suspect Vehicle Description: Early 2000’s light colored vehicle. Loss: Miscellaneous clothing items.

Suspect Description: Male, Hispanic or Asian, 30s, wearing a straw hat and light colored shorts. Suspect Vehicle Description: Early 2000’s light colored vehicle. Loss: Sunglasses, cash.

• _1-18-18, 5:30 p.m. to 1-19-18, 7:40 a.m., 2000 block of Edgewood. ’04 Land Rover Discovery. Suspect(s) enter victim’s unlocked vehicle and take loss. Loss: FastTrak transponder, sunglass case, phone charger.

• _1-18-18, 7:30 p.m. to 1-19-18, 10:30 a.m., 600 block of Mound. ’03 Toyota Corolla. Suspect(s) take loss from victim’s unlocked vehicle. Loss: Clothing, cash, CDs, registration.

• _1-19-18, 12:21 p.m. to 12:35 p.m., 1600 block of Camden. ’10 Lexus RX450h. Suspect(s) take loss from victim’s unlocked vehicle. Loss: Miscellaneous clothing items.

DUI

• _1-17-18, 1:08 a.m., 2000 block of Huntington. Suspect is stopped for a traffic violation and found to be driving under the influence of alcohol. Suspect Arrested: Male, White, 28 years, San Gabriel.

• 1-22-18, 1:13 a.m., Huntington/Fletcher. Suspect is stopped for a traffic violation and found to be driving under the influence of alcohol. Suspect Arrested: Male, White, 54 years, Pasadena.

IDENTITY THEFT/CREDIT CARD FRAUD/CHECK FRAUD

• 1-18-18, 6:00 a.m. to 1 p.m., 4900 block of Harriman. Suspect(s) transfer victim’s mobile phone account to a different SIM card and access victim’s banking app to transfer funds.

• 12-30-17, 12:01 a.m. to 1-1-18, 11:59 p.m., 1800 block of Milan. Suspect(s) use victim’s information and make several unauthorized withdrawals.

STOLEN VEHICLE

• 1-17-18, 8:34 a.m. to 12:31 p.m., 1200 block of Lyndon. ’97 Honda Accord.

• 1-22-18, 11:36 a.m. to 11:51 a.m., 100 block of Monterey. ’05 Ford E250.

• 1-23-18, 7:27 p.m. to 7:40 p.m., 400 block of Monterey. ’01 Toyota Echo.

AUTO BURGLARY

  • 1-18-18, 9:15 p.m. to 1-19-18, 7:35 a.m., 600 block of Prospect. ’91 Mazda B2200. Suspect(s) gain access to victim’s vehicle through unknown means and take loss. Loss: Cash, tools, radio.

POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

• 1-17-18, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Arroyo/Pasadena. Officers make contact with suspect who is found to be in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Suspect Arrested: Male, Hispanic, 25 years, Los Angeles.

• 1-17-18, 9:45 p.m. to 9:52 p.m., 600 block of Grand. Officer makes contact with suspect who is found to be in possession of methamphetamine. Suspect Arrested: Male, White, 30 years, South Pasadena.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

• 1-21-18, 6 PM to 1-22-18, 6:30 p.m., 800 block of Rollin. Suspect(s) smashes a rear window to gain entry. Loss: Jewelry.

• 1-23-18, 8:49 p.m., 1600 block of Indiana (hot prowl). Victim is home asleep when suspect smashes a rear door window. Suspect reaches inside broken window to unlock the door and opens it, activating the alarm. Victim wakes up as suspect runs away. LOSS: None.

FRAUD BY FALSE PRETENSE

  • 1-21-18, 5:30 p.m., 800 block of Adelaine. Suspect calls victim and poses as a Chinese law enforcement officer calling from China. Suspect claims that victim is being investigated for crimes and that victim can be arrested and imprisoned unless a fine was paid. Victim wires funds to suspect.
  • For graffiti removal, call the City of South Pasadena “Graffiti Removal Hotline” at 626-403-7249. This is a 24-hour a day recording. A written release is required prior to removal from private property.
