Odom and Kate Stamps founded Stamps & Stamps in 1991 in South Pasadena. Their combined talents form a dovetailed set of design and architecture skills. Odom Stamps brings his master’s degree in Architecture from Tulane University to the team – while Kate Stamps has a bachelor’s degree in History of Art and in English Literature – also from Tulane. Together they create beautiful and functional living and working spaces for both residences and businesses. Stamps & Stamps share a passion for historical reference and attention to detail, demonstrating their artistry in creating timeless environments of thoughtful style, comfort and harmony.

Friday, December 17, 2021 marks the Grand Opening and ribbon cutting ceremony of their new location at 1518 Mission Street in South Pasadena. An array of South Pasadena luminaries were in attendance along with local design, architecture, and business community leaders.

The new location boasts an array of beautiful antique furniture and period architectural artwork for restoration projects as well as new construction.

Also featured at the Grand Opening were copies of the first Stamps & Stamps published work: Design and Sensibility. The book features photos from Kate Stamps documenting various Stamps and Stamps projects showing the couple’s skills in designing, decorating, and reviving historic homes and gardens.

The mood was festive and the well-wishes were genuine. Odom Stamps related his gratitude at the decades of work provided by the City of South Pasadena and its residents.
