THEFT

• 8-30-20, 4:21 PM to 4:58 PM, 1100 block of Fair Oaks (Vons). Suspects place loss in bags and leave store without paying. SUSPECTS ARRESTED: S1 – Female, 26 years, Los Angeles. S2 – Female, 19 years, Downey. S3 – Female, 20 years, Los Angeles. S4 – Female, 26 years, Los Angeles. LOSS: Deodorant, medication, cosmetics (recovered).

• 9-1-20, 11:26 AM to 1:56 PM, 2000 block of Crestlake. ’07 Toyota Prius. Suspect(s) tamper with victim’s vehicle and take loss. LOSS: Catalytic converter.

• 9-1-20, 4:21 PM to 4:23 PM, 500 block of Magnolia. Suspect(s) cut lock and take loss. LOSS: Bicycles.

• 9-1-20, 8:06 AM to 4:28 PM, 300 block of Monterey. Suspect(s) take loss from victim’s shared mailbox area. LOSS: Parcel package.

• 9-2-20, 4:00 PM to 9-3-20, 7:00 AM, 1900 block of Huntington. Suspect(s) enter construction site and take loss. LOSS: Electrical wire, copper piping.

• 9-2-20, 9:00 PM to 9-3-20, 4:04 PM, 1200 block of Lyndon. ’15 Honda Pilot. Suspect(s) take loss from victim’s unlocked vehicle and attempt to make an unauthorized transaction. LOSS: Purse, wallet, driver’s license, debit card.

• 9-3-20, 7:12 PM to 7:26 PM, 1100 block of Fair Oaks (Vons). Suspect places loss in bag and leaves store without paying. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, 51 years, Compton. LOSS: Liquor (recovered).

• 9-5-20, 11:20 AM to 11:50 AM, 600 block of El Centro. Witness sees suspect entering victim’s side yard and tells victim. Victim discovers loss missing and calls police. Officers locate suspect riding loss and is arrested. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, 53 years, Los Angeles. LOSS: Bicycle (recovered).

• 9-5-20, 6:00 PM to 9-7-20, 5:30 PM, 400 block of Monterey. ’18 Chevrolet Cruze. Suspect(s) enters victim’s unlocked vehicle and takes loss. LOSS: Sunglasses, remote gate opener, first aid kit, miscellaneous items.

• 9-4-20, 7:00 PM to 9-5-20, 8:40 AM, 1700 block of Fremont. ’20 Toyota Corolla. Suspect(s) enter victim’s unlocked vehicle and takes loss. LOSS: Purse, clothing, bags, miscellaneous items.

• 9-4-20, 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM, 700 block of Prospect. Suspect(s) cut lock and take loss from victim’s carport. LOSS: Bicycles.

• 9-4-20, 3:44 PM to 6:00 PM, 2000 block of Mission. Suspect(s) take loss from victim’s front porch. LOSS: Parcel package.

• 9-6-20, 5:05 PM to 11:05 PM, 300 block of Pasadena. Suspect(s) take loss from victim’s open garage. LOSS: Bicycle.

• 9-4-20, 1:00 PM to 7:30 PM, 600 block of Orange Grove. Suspects cut lock and take loss. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: S1 – Male. S2 – Female. LOSS: Bicycle.

ASSAULT

  • 8-30-20, 12:04 PM to 12:45 PM, 1000 block of El Centro. Suspects confronts victim for playing music too loudly. Victim refuses to turn down music and S2 attempts to take victim’s laptop. Victim tries to stop S2, but S1 grabs victim. SUSPECT ARRESTED: S1 – Male, 41 years, South Pasadena.

ROBBERY

  • 9-1-20, 11:30 AM to 11:57 AM, 900 block of Meridian (attempt). Victims are walking on the sidewalk when they are approached from behind by five suspects. Suspect 1 demands victims to hand over cash and cell phones. Victims refuse to comply and are chased by suspects. Suspects stop chasing as victims reach the Metro Gold Line station. LOSS: None. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: S1 – Male, Black, 20s, 5’10’’ to 5’11’’, wearing a red shirt, black pants, and blue shoes. S2 – Male, Black, 20s, wearing a black shirt. S3 – Male, Black, 20s. S4 – Male, Black, 20s. S5 – Male, black, 20s.

ATTEMPT STOLEN VEHICLE

  • 9-1-20, 6:35 AM to 6:47 AM, 900 block of Lyndon. ’03 Ford F-150. Suspect tampers with vehicle ignition switch and takes loss. Suspect flees and drops loss as victim confronts suspect. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male, Hispanic, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and grey sweat pants. LOSS: Stereo faceplate, U.S. currency, miscellaneous paperwork (recovered).

POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

  • 9-1-20, 10:39 AM to 11:43 AM, 500 block of Meridian. Officer responds to a call regarding a trespassing subject and finds suspect to be in possession of methamphetamine. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, 33 years, Los Angeles.

POSSESSION OF PARAPHERNALIA

  • 9-5-20, 3:50 AM to 3:51 AM, 700 block of Mission. Officer contacts and finds suspect to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Female, 29 years, San Gabriel. OBSCENE/ANNOYING/THREATENING PHONE CALLS 9-5-20, 1:06 PM. Suspect calls victim and leaves multiple threatening voice messages.

TRESPASSING

  • 9-5-20, 7:35 AM, 700 block of Adelaine. Suspects trespass onto victim’s property and flee after being confronted by victim. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: S1 – Male, White, 50 years, wearing a beige hat, grey pants. S2 – Male, White, 30 years, black hair, black goatee, wearing all white colored clothing.

IDENTITY THEFT/CHECK FRAUD/CREDIT CARD FRAUD

• 8-21-20, 12:00 AM to 9-3-20, 10:51 AM. Suspect(s) use victim’s information and makes several unauthorized transactions.

• 12-4-19, 8:00 AM to 9-3-20, 9:38 PM. Suspect(s) use victim’s information and opens several unauthorized accounts.

DUI

  • 9-7-20, 2:00 AM to 2:58 AM, Raymond Hill and Mockingbird. Officer observes as suspect becomes involved in a traffic collision and finds suspect to be driving under the influence of alcohol. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Female, 60 years, South Pasadena. FALSE

IMPERSONATION STATE COUNTY OR CITY EMPLOYEE

  • 9-6-20, 3:59 AM, 1800 block of Fremont. Suspect rings doorbell multiple times and claims to be a city employee. Suspect states that power to the building will be shut off. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male, Hispanic, 20s, wearing a beanie, dark-colored shorts, with a “Misfits” band logo t-shirt.
