THEFT

  • 5-12-20, 3:40 PM to 4:07 PM, 600 block of El Centro. Suspect(s) take victim’s unattended loss. LOSS: Backpack, computer tablet.
  • 5-14-20, 8:55 AM to 9:13 AM, 500 block of Orange Grove. ’16 Acura MDX. Suspect(s) tamper with victim’s vehicle and take loss. LOSS: License plate.
  • 5-17-20, 6:32 PM to 7:07 PM, 1100 block of Fair Oaks (Vons). Suspect takes loss and leaves store without paying. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Female, Black, 5’06”, thin build, pink hair, wearing a black baseball cap, black shirt, and black pants. LOSS: Liquor.
  • 5-18-20, 8:58 PM to 9:33 PM, 1100 block of Fair Oaks (Vons). Suspect places loss in duffle bag and leaves store without paying. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Hispanic, 24 years, Tujunga. LOSS: Liquor (recovered).

PROWLING

  • 5-12-20, 11:14 AM to 12:27 PM, Martos/Indiana. Officer responds to a call regarding a suspicious subject looking into cars and residences. Suspect is found to be prowling in the area and in possession of methamphetamine. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Hispanic, 42 years, Los Angeles.

POSSESSION OF PARAPHERNALIA

  • 5-14-20, 1:52 AM to 2:36 AM, 90 block of Monterey. Officer stops subject for a traffic violation and finds passenger to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Female, White, 35 years, transient.

STOLEN VEHICLE

  • 5-13-20, 2:25 PM to 2:56 PM, 900 block of Lohman. ’06 Ford E350 (recovered by CHP on 5-14-20).
  • 5-15-20, 1:09 PM to 1:44 PM, 700 block of Brent. ’98 Honda CRV.
  • 5-17-20, 5:51 AM to 7:04 AM, 900 block of Fremont. ’89 Honda Civic.
  • 5-16-20, 8:00 PM to 5-17-20, 9:09 AM, 1100 block of Huntington. ’98 Nissan Sentra (recovered by LAPD Hollenbeck on 5-18-20)

BRANDISHING A WEAPON

  • 5-16-20, 6:04 PM to 7:07 PM, Via Del Rey/Monterey. Suspect gets into a road rage incident with victim and brandishes a firearm. SUSPECT DESCRIPTIONS: S1 – Male, Hispanic, 25 years, wearing a dark-colored hat, white t-shirt. S2 – Male, Hispanic, 25 years, wearing a red hat, grey shirt. SUSPECT VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: White Honda sedan.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

  • 5-17-20, 2:08 PM to 2:12 PM, 1000 block of Meridian. Suspect(s) enter victim’s detached open garage and take loss. LOSS: Bicycle.
  • 5-18-20, 3:58 AM to 4:20 AM, 600 block of Orange Grove. Suspect removes a window screen and reaches through an opened window when victim sees hand. Victim yells at suspect and suspect runs away. Victim closes window and suspect returns and opens unlocked window and takes loss. Victim chases after suspect and suspect runs away. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male, Black, wearing a grey long sleeve shirt. LOSS: Wallet, bank cards.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY

  • 5-18-20, 12:00 AM to 5:00 AM, 1500 block of Diamond (South Pasadena High School). Suspect(s) gain access to victim’s storage container by sawing a lock. LOSS: Construction equipment.
  • 5-18-20, 12:00 AM to 5:00 AM, 1500 block of Diamond (South Pasadena High School). Suspect(s) take loss from roof. LOSS: Air condensing unit. TRESPASSING 5-18-20, 12:11 PM to 12:55 PM, 1700 block of Garfield (Ralphs). Suspect refuses to leave business after being repeatedly told to do so. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Hispanic, 57 years, Los Angeles.

ASSAULT

  • 5-11-20, 2:09 PM to 2:50 PM, 1000 block of Magnolia. Suspect and victim are acquaintances and get into a physical altercation.
