RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY
3-22-23, 10:50 AM, (Distraction Theft) 300 block of Camino Del Sol. S1 knocks on victim’s door and claims to be a handyman and that a water pipe in victim’s rear yard is broken. S1 walks with victim to the rear yard and distracts victim, as S2 enters through an unlocked door and enters victim’s bedroom where witness is resting in bed. Witness yells at S2 and S2 leaves. Both suspects then flee. LOSS: Glass figurine. SUSPECTS DESCRIPTION: S1 – Male, Hispanic, 35 years, 5’8”, skinny build, black short hair, wearing a bright orange safety vest. S2 – Male, Hispanic, 30 years, 6’, skinny build.
STOLEN VEHICLE
3-21-23, 1700 block of Fair Oaks. ’20, Ford Transit. Victim purchases a vehicle for suspect with an agreement that suspect makes monthly payments to victim. Suspect stops making payments to victim and refuses to return vehicle.
THEFT
• 3-11-23. 11 PM to 11:45 PM, 1100 block of Arroyo Verde. ’22, Toyota Tacoma. Suspect(s) remove loss from victim’s vehicle. LOSS: Tailgate.
• 3-21-23, 1:47 AM to 3:15 AM, 900 block of Indiana. ’13 Toyota Prius. Suspects cut and remove loss from victim’s vehicle. LOSS: Catalytic converter.
• 3-21-23, 2:32 AM, 500 block of Alta Vista. ’15 Toyota Prius. Suspect(s) cut and remove loss from victim’s vehicle. LOSS: Catalytic converter.
• 3-21-23, 3:28 AM, 500 block of Alta Vista. ’11 Toyota Prius. Suspect(s) cut and remove loss from victim’s vehicle. LOSS: Catalytic converter.
• 3-20-23, 4:00 PM to 3-21-23, 6:30 AM, 400 block of El Centro. ’10 Toyota Prius. Suspect(s) cut and remove loss from victim’s vehicle. LOSS: Catalytic converter.
• 3-20-23, 7:32 PM to 7:40 PM, 900 block of Fair Oaks (Rite Aid). Suspects take loss and leave store without paying. SUSPECT DESCRIPTIONS: S1 – Female, Black, wearing a pink head wrap, white jacket, pink pants, holding a black purse. S2 – Female, Black, black hair, wearing a black shirt, and multicolor pants. LOSS: Medication.
• 3-21-23, 9:00 AM to 3-22-23, 8:30 AM, 1900 block of Meridian. ’05 Toyota Prius. Suspect(s) cut and remove loss from victim’s vehicle. LOSS: Catalytic converter.
• 3-22-23, 11:06 AM to 12:06 PM, Diamond/Oxley. Officer attempts to conduct a traffic stop and suspect fails to pull over, starting a pursuit. Suspects exit vehicle and officers locate suspects a block away. Suspects are in possession of stolen property. SUSPECT VEHICLE: Toyota 4- Runner. RECOVERED ITEMS: Gardening tools. SUSPECTS ARRESTED: S1 – Male, Hispanic, 27 years, Pasadena. S2 – Male, Hispanic, 25 years, Altadena.
• 2-2-23 to 2-10-23, 1000 block of Fremont. Victim deposits mail into postal collection box and suspect(s) obtains victim’s mail by unknown means. Suspect(s) alters victim’s check and cashes altered check.
• 3-19-23, 5 PM to 6 PM, 1700 block of Fletcher. Suspect takes loss from victim’s front porch. LOSS: Parcel package. SUSPECT DESCRIPION: Light skinned, heavy set Female, wearing black hoodie jacket and gray shorts.
• 3-23-23, 2:50 PM, 1200 block of Fair Oaks (Pavilions). Suspect enters store and takes loss, then exits store without paying for loss. LOSS: Alcohol. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male, Black, 20 years, wearing a black shirt and jeans.
• 3-19-23, 8 PM to 3-23-23, 3 PM, 1700 block of State. ’15, Toyota Prius. Suspect(s) cuts and removes loss from victim’s vehicle. LOSS: Catalytic converter.
• 3-22-23, 1:55 AM, 1100 block of Maple. Honda Accord. Suspect(s) cuts and removes loss from victim’s vehicle. LOSS: Catalytic converter.
• 3-19-23, 5 PM to 3-20-23, 8:30 AM, 1700 block of Gillette Crescent. Unknown vehicle. Suspect(s) cuts and removes loss from victim’s vehicle. LOSS: Catalytic converter.
• 2-26-23, to 3-24-23, 200 block of Monterey. Suspect(s) takes loss from apartment complex mailbox area. LOSS: Parcel package.
• 3-27-23, 1:10 PM, 1700 block of Grevelia. USPS truck. Suspect smashes window to US Postal truck and takes loss. Suspect enters a waiting vehicle and drives away. LOSS: Packages. SUSPECT VEHICLE: Honda SUV. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male, Hispanic, 5’5”, baldhead, wearing a facemask, gray shirt, blue pants and work boots.
• 3-27-23, 2:45 PM, 1700 block of State. Suspect enters carport area and attempts to cut lock securing victim’s bicycle. Suspect damages lock and flees without loss. LOSS: None. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male, Hispanic, wearing a blue baseball cap, blue “UCLA” t-shirt, blue jeans and riding a black BMX bike.
AUTO BURGLARY
3-22-23, 5 PM to 3-23-23, 3 PM, 1100 block of Columbia. ’01, Ford F-150. Suspect(s) smashes window to victim’s vehicle to gain entry and takes loss. LOSS: Tools.
VANDALISM
• 3-17-23, 1:30 AM to 8:14 AM, 1700 block of Fair Oaks. Suspect(s) cuts wires and water pipes, causing a water leak.
• 3-21-23, 4 PM to 3-22-23, 10:27 AM, 2000 block of Meridian. Suspect(s) damages victim’s mailbox.
IDENTITY THEFT/FRAUD
• 3-20-23, 12:30 PM to 7:20 PM. Suspect calls victim and claims to be from the IRS. Suspect says victim’s bank account is compromised and tells victim to deposit cash into a bitcoin ATM. Victim complies and does not hear back from suspect.
• 3-13-23 to 3-14-23. Suspect(s) uses victim’s personal information to file income tax.
• 9-20-22 to 3-3-23. Suspect(s) uses victim’s personal information to open a cell phone account.
• 3-15-23 to 3-24-23. Suspect(s) uses victim’s personal information to open two accounts.
• 3-21-23 to 3-28-23, 4:53 PM, Arroyo Seco Golf Course. Suspect attempts to use victim’s stolen credit card to make a purchase.
• Unknown date/time to 3-19-23. Suspect(s) uses victim’s personal information to open a cell account.
TRESPASSING
3-21-23, 9 PM to 3-22-23, 6 AM, 1300 block of Rollin (Holy Family School). Suspect repeatedly enters property at night. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male, Hispanic, 30 years, shaved head.
POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA
3-23-23, 2:30 AM, 700 block of Fair Oaks. Officer contact suspects loitering around a closed business. S1 is found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and S2 is found to have an outstanding warrant.
ASSAULT
3-23-23, 9:25 PM, 300 block of Pasadena. Suspect is helping victim moving and gets into an argument with victim. Suspect hits victim with a stick. Victim is non-desirous of prosecution.
