THEFT

• 12-21-20, 12:34 AM, 1100 Block of Columbia. Suspect(s) take loss from victim’s front porch. LOSS: Parcel package.

• 12-22-20, 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM, 400 Block of Monterey. Suspect(s) take loss from victim’s front porch. LOSS: Parcel package.

• 12-22-20, 8:00 PM to 12-23-20, 8:00 AM, 1700 Block of Peterson. Suspect(s) take loss from victim’s front porch. LOSS: Parcel package.

• 12-24-20, 8:38 AM, 900 Block of Fair Oaks (Rite Aid). Suspect enters store and takes loss. Officers locate suspect a block away LOSS: Alcoholic beverage (recovered). SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Hispanic, 27 years, Los Angeles.

• 12-22-20, 4:35 PM, 1200 Block of Brunswick. Suspect takes loss from victim’s front porch. LOSS: Parcel package. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Female, White or Hispanic, 5’06” 110 lbs, shoulder length black hair, wearing a blue denim jacket, black form-fitting dress to the knees, white sneakers, a pink and fuzzy teddy bear backpack, and dark frame glasses.

• 12-23-20, 12:58 AM, 300 Block of Monterey. Officers respond to a report of multiple vehicles being burglarized. Upon arrival, officers find a suspect who enters a vehicle through unknown means and takes loss. LOSS: Fountain pen (recovered). SUSPECT ARRESTED: Female, White, 21 years, Los Angeles.

• 12-24-20, 6:11 PM, 1100 Block of Fair Oaks (Vons). Suspects enter store and take loss. Officers locate suspects in parking lot. LOSS: Medication, bag of chips (recovered). SUSPECTS ARRESTED: S1- Male, White, 39 years, South Gate. S2- Male, Black, 60 years, Los Angeles.

• 12-20-20, 2:00 PM to 12-26-20, 1:50 PM, 400 Block of Mission, ’20 Toyota Prius. Suspect(s) cut and remove loss from victim’s vehicle. LOSS: Catalytic converter.

FRAUD

• 12-23-20, 12:49 PM, 900 Block of Fair Oaks (Bank of America). Bank employee discovers that suspect(s) placed debit card “skimming” devices on two ATM machines.

• 11-20-20 to 12-10-20, 900 Block of Fair Oaks. Suspect(s) listed as beneficiaries in victim’s bank account transact U.S currency from victim’s account without permission. The victim denies knowing the listed beneficiaries. LOSS: U.S currency.

• 12-20-20, 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, 200 Block of Warwick. Victim attempts to purchase an item online via an advertisement on Facebook Marketplace. Suspect contacts victim and asks for payment outside of Facebook rules and victim complies. Suspect does not send item or reply to victim. LOSS: Airpods.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

• 12-28-20, 9:48 AM, 200 Block of Los Laureles (hot prowl). Victim is upstairs when suspect removes a window screen and enters through the window. Victim hears noises and scares away suspect. Victim looks out window and sees suspect pulling away from curb and drive away. LOSS: Car keys. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Gray, 4-dor Honda.

VEHICLE BURGLARY

• 12-22-20, 11:00 PM to 12-23-20, 7:00 AM, 1900 Block of La France, ’01 Honda Accord. Suspect(s) smash victim’s vehicle window to gain entry and take loss. LOSS: U.S currency.

STOLEN VEHICLE

• 12-12-20, 5:04 AM, 1100 block of Oxley, ’01 Vespa Scooter. Suspect enters opened garage and takes loss. Suspect is later arrested committing a burglary in a garage in the 900 block of Throop Alley. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Caucasian, 33 years, South Pasadena.

DUI

• 12-19-20, 7:53 PM, 1700 Block of Meridian. Suspect is involved in a traffic collision and is found to be driving under the influence of alcohol. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Hispanic, 44 years, Van Nuys.

SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES

• 12-28-20, 4:17 PM to 5:55 PM, 100 Block of Monterey. Suspect(s) take loss from victim’s rear porch without permission. Victim also finds the front porch is cut away and a mail box has nails sticking out. LOSS: Gardening tools.

ASSAULT

• 12-19-20, 11:25 PM, 200 Block of Monterey. Suspect and victim are acquaintances and attending a party together. Suspect and victim get into an argument and suspect hits victim.

POSSESSION OF STOLEN PROPERTY

• 12-28-20, 5:20 AM, 900 Block of Mission. Officers respond to a call regarding suspects looking into vehicles. Officers locate suspect who is found to have an outstanding warrant and also in possession of credit cards not belonging to suspect. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Black, 22 years, North Hills.
