THEFT

• 8-5-20, 3:50 AM to 3:58 AM, 500 block of Magnolia. Suspect enters a subterranean parking garage and pulls on car door handles. Suspect cuts lock and take victim’s loss from bike rack. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male, light skinned, 5’06’’ – 5’08’’, 180 – 190 lbs., 20 – 30 years, short dark cropped hair, wearing a black baseball cap black face mask, long sleeve gray shirt, black calf-length shorts, light colored “Nike” tennis shoes, gloves, white socks, carrying a light and dark green backpack. LOSS: Bicycle.

• 8-1-20, 12:55 PM to 12:57 PM, 600 block of Prospect. Suspect takes loss from victim’s shared mailbox area. LOSS: Parcel package.

• 8-10-20, 5:52 AM to 5:57 AM, 1200 block of Via Del Rey. Suspect takes loss from victim’s porch. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male, White, 20 – 30 years, 5’09’’ – 5’11’’, 170 – 180 lbs., wearing a black hat with red lid, black long sleeve t-shirt, black pants, black shoes with white socks. LOSS: Shoes.

• 8-12-20, 4:37 AM to 4:56 AM, 800 block of Adelaine. Suspect enters victim’s backyard and takes loss. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male, White, wearing a bandana mask. LOSS: Toolbox, tools (later recovered a few blocks away) video doorbell camera.

• 8-11-20, 4:00 PM to 8-12-20, 8:30 AM, 1600 block of Camden. ’17 Toyota Prius. Suspect(s) take loss from victim’s unlocked vehicle. LOSS: Golf clubs, golf bag, car battery charger.

• 8-6-20, 3:40 AM to 4:00 AM, 200 block of Fair Oaks. ’00 Ford Mustang. Suspect(s) take loss from victim’s unlocked vehicle. LOSS: iPad, guitar pedals.

• 8-9-20, 5:01 AM, 500 block of Hermosa. ’11 Lexus GX 460. Suspect takes loss from victim’s unlocked vehicle. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male, light skinned, 5’08’’ – 5’10’’, 170 – 180 lbs., wearing knee high shorts, long sleeve shirt with hooded jacket, scarf, sunglasses, dark shoes, carrying a backpack, riding a dark colored bicycle. LOSS: Flashlight, emergency tool, coin purse, U.S. currency, miscellaneous items.

• 8-13-20, 3:22 PM to 8-14-20, 8:00 AM, 600 block of Stoney. ’16 Ford Super Duty. Suspect(s) gain access to victim’s property by prying open a chain link fence and tamper with victim’s vehicle. LOSS: Catalytic converter.

• 8-9-20, 5:00 PM to 8-10-20, 12:00 PM, 400 block of Mission. Suspect(s) enter victim’s carport and take loss. LOSS: Bicycles.

• 8-14-20, 6:30 PM to 8-15-20, 8:30 AM, 2000 block of Meridian. ’19 Nissan Kicks. Suspect(s) take loss from victim’s unlocked vehicle. LOSS: Miscellaneous items.

• 8-13-20, 12:45 AM to 8-14-20, 12:00 PM, 800 block of Orange Grove. ’18 Subaru Outback. Suspect(s) take loss from victim’s unlocked vehicle. LOSS: Sunglasses, miscellaneous paperwork.

• 8-13-20, 11:30 PM to 8-14-20, 8:00 AM, Railroad Alley. ’20 Toyota Tacoma. Suspect(s) tamper with victim’s truck bed cover but fail to gain entry. LOSS: None.

• 8-12-20, 5:35 PM to 8-14-20, 5:35 PM, 1300 block of Mountain View. ’20 Volvo XC60. Suspect(s) enter victim’s garage and take loss. LOSS: Miscellaneous paperwork, bicycle.

• 8-16-20, 8:30 PM to 8-17-20, 7:30 AM, 1100 block of Pine. ’19 Kia Optima. Suspect(s) take loss from victim’s unlocked vehicle. Suspect(s) attempt to cash victim’s check. LOSS: Basketballs, wallet, driver’s license, credit cards, U.S. currency, checkbook.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

• 8-16-20, 10:30 PM to 8-17-20, 7:30 AM, 300 block of Camino Verde. Suspect(s) enter victim’s attached garage and take loss from victim’s unlocked vehicle. LOSS: Garage door opener, backpack, credit cards, driver’s license, social security number card.

STOLEN VEHICLE

• 8-15-20, 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM, 1700 block of Huntington. ’88 Jeep Wrangler (recovered by LASD Century).

CARJACKING

• 8-16-20, 1:25 AM to 1:39 AM, 1800 block of State. ’20 Volvo XC40 (attempt). Suspect approaches victim as victim is sitting in a vehicle. Suspect uses a rock to smash the driver side window of victim’s vehicle and pulls victim out of the vehicle. Suspect is unable to locate car keys and flees on foot. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male, 30 years, short hair, light colored pants.

ARSON

• 8-16-20, 1:20 AM to 1:28 AM, 1700 block of State. ’02 Honda Civic. Suspect(s) set victim’s vehicle on fire.
