
According to a SPPD Media Release, the South Pasadena Police Department received a report of a student in possession of weapons at South Pasadena High School on Tuesday, April 4th at 10:54 a.m. Upon arrival, officers were informed that school officials had already searched the student and detained them in the Administration offices.
Upon further investigation, it was discovered that the student had several knives and an “airsoft” style replica firearm in their possession. Fortunately, the student made no threats before being detained by school officials. The student was taken into custody and later released to their parents.
