South Pasadena Library | 2023 Bookmark Contest Winners

Using their imaginations, the children and teens created colorful, unique, and inspiring bookmarks.

130 children and teens participated in the South Pasadena Public Library’s Bookmark Contest this year. The theme for the Bookmark Contest was “Find Your Voice,” which is also the theme for this year’s Summer Reading Program. Using their imaginations, the children and teens created colorful, unique, and inspiring bookmarks. We are pleased to announce the winners of the Bookmark Contest:

  1. Jasmine, Grade 1: “I Am Me”
  2. Elizabeth, Grade 2: “Books Change Life”
  3. Pierrette, Grade 5: “Read and Find Your Voice”
  4. Xin, Grade 9: Journey to Discovery”
  5. Claire, Grade 11: “Singing with Books”

Each winner’s bookmark will be reproduced and will be distributed at the Library during the Summer Reading Program, which begins on Wednesday, May 31, 2023. The
