Following an annual SPHS tradition, the rain postponed Powder Puff football game was held Monday night at the school’s football stadium. The game pits girls from the senior class versus their junior class counterparts.

The junior class bested the seniors 26-6 in the 2023 matchup, which gives them bragging rights for the year.

The juniors took an early 12-0 first half lead and never looked back.The game is flag football with a smaller field and different rules than conventional football.
