South Pasadena Fire Department officials were busy assisting area firefighters in battling an electrical fire last week in the 200 block of Cordova Street in Pasadena.
The blaze broke out in a room inside a 13th story residential high-rise structure. Teams of fire fighters were called in to extinguish the flames.
Members of the local fire department not only assisted in putting out the fire but helped with the evacuations of residents after the fire began at about 2:30 p.m. on Monday, July 30. No in injuries were reported.
