On behalf of the South Pasadena Unified School District Board of Education, thank you to the community of South Pasadena for renewing the local parcel tax, “Measure S,” which includes $3 million in annual local school funding through 2032.

This overwhelmingly positive vote–more than 80% voted yes–represents your confidence in the future of our schools. South Pasadena residents have proven over and over again that they will provide this backing at the local level, and we are so grateful for the support.

We would also like to offer a special thanks to the campaign committee driving the outreach effort. Co-Chairs Emilia Aldana and Erik Gammell assembled an impressive team who dedicated hours of their time to ensure that the community was aware and engaged.

Additionally, we owe a huge thanks to those who, through their financial contributions to the campaign, made it possible to educate the community on the special importance of funding our schools. The Yes on S vote ensures that we are protecting the high-quality education that our students deserve. Thank you!
