Business and economic-related issues will be addressed by Mayor Robert S. Joe on Wednesday, January 29, as the South Pasadena mayor hosts “Cup of Joe,” a discussion about a variety of topics at the South Pasadena Chamber of Commerce.

Like he has done at a recent City Council meeting and the Oneonta Club, Joe will share his goals for the year during the informal hour-long gathering starting at 5 p.m.

Joe was elected to the City Council in November 2011 and is in his second term as mayor. He completed his first term as mayor in the 2014-15 term.

Over the years before joining the council, he served on the city’s Transportation Commission, Parks and Recreation Commission, Freeway and Transportation Commission, and Design Advisory Group. In addition, he also served on the Friends of Chinatown Library Advisory Board and Chinatown Library Board of Directors.

The Chamber of Commerce is located at 1121 Mission Street in the city.
