When: October 21, 2024 – November 3, 2024 – 7:00 curtain
This Fall, find yourself on a nostalgic trip through time as the Lineage Performing Arts Center takes over the historic Gamble House with an interactive dance, theater, and storytelling event! Every room takes on a new decade while you are whisked through important cultural, political and historical events from the 1950s to the year 1999. Join the Lineage dancers, singers, actors, writers, and creators on a guided tour through a curated live performance event that will inspire you to look at your place in history. As you arrive, you’ll choose whether you want to go forwards or backwards in time, then travel beyond the theater for performances throughout the Gamble House!
We also encourage you to become part of the show by dressing up from your favorite decade!
Due to the historic nature of the venue, the performances are NOT fully accessible. Guests will encounter low light and stairs throughout. A free, condensed, accessible performance of Matter of Time will take place outside the Gamble House on Sunday, October 20. Reserve your space for that by clicking HERE.
Due to some difficult subject matter, parental guidance is suggested.
The show is approximately 2 hours long, including an intermission.
Tickets are available here.
Matter of Time is made possible in part by a grant from the City of Pasadena Arts and Culture Commission, and the City of Pasadena Cultural Affairs Division.
