The City of South Pasadena is calling on community members to help shape the future of the Library Park Campus, which includes Library Park, the Library, and the Senior Center. As part of the ongoing South Pas Forward planning initiative, residents are encouraged to join upcoming community pop-ups and participate in an online survey open through June 1, 2025.
Help Guide the Long-Term Vision for a Vital Public Space
City officials emphasize that community voices are key to shaping a space that reflects the evolving needs of residents. Whether you’re a frequent visitor to the library, a senior center regular, or someone who simply enjoys the park, your input will help build a long-term vision that supports all who use the campus.
“As we move South Pas Forward, it’s essential that we hear from you — the people who use, enjoy, and care about these community spaces,” said city planners. “Your input will help guide the development of a plan that ensures these facilities continue to serve future generations.”
Upcoming Pop-Up Engagement Events
Community members are invited to stop by any of the following pop-up events to meet with the planning team, ask questions, and share ideas:
- Spring Eggstravaganza – Saturday, April 12, 2025
- Eclectic Music Festival – Saturday, April 26, 2025
- South Pasadena Farmers Market – Thursday, May 8, 2025
These informal, come-as-you-are events offer a quick and accessible way to get involved and contribute to the planning process.
Take the Survey and Have Your Say
In addition to in-person events, residents can provide feedback online through a community-wide survey hosted on the Library Park Campus website. The survey is available now and will remain open until June 1, 2025.
