SPPD | Free Self-Defense Class for Women on Mar 30

The South Pasadena Police Department is conducting a self-defense class for women on Saturday, March 30, at the War Memorial Building on Fair Oaks

A free self-defense class for women, conducted by South Pasadena Police Department officials, is scheduled for Saturday, March 30, from 9 to 10 a.m. at the War Memorial Building.

Participants will learn how to defend themselves and escape from critical situations.

Instruction will include:

• Safety awareness.

• How to properly hit and kick.

• How to escape common holds, and how to fight while on the ground.   

The event is designed for beginners and advanced participants and all athletic abilities.

Participants are encouraged to attend multiple sessions to strengthen their skills.

Participation in the class is limited to women, who must be South Pasadena residents, is ages 18 years and older. CLICK HERE TO REGISTER FOR THE CLASS.
