SPCC is directly contributing $15,000 to help support South Pasadena small businesses.
However, help is needed. “If we all come together to keep our community strong, we can help our local businesses survive and thrive once again,” said Yuki Cutcheon, president of SPCC.
SPCC and the Chamber are asking organizations, clubs and groups in town to help publicize the SPCC Free Bingo: Eat, Shop, Enjoy South Pasadena campaign.
“The more people who participate, the more we can all support these local businesses,” explained Cutcheon, noting she hopes free bingo will be played twice a month until the end of August.
The first virtual SPCC Free Bingo – Eat Shop Enjoy South Pasadena – hosted by SPCC and the chamber, is slated for Saturday, March 20, from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
“Participants will need to register with an email address so we can email them two free bingo cards to participate,” said Cutcheon. “All prizes are worth a minimum of $25 and are purchased by SPCC directly from the featured businesses. Bingo Participants can win amazing prizes and $25 gift cards just by playing for free! Bingo cards can be printed up or played on any smart device.”
Participants can take part in “Bingo and Eat!” featuring restaurants Aro Latin & Mike and Anne’s.
“For anyone interested in directly supporting a local restaurant, each featured restaurant will have two meal choices for $15 per meal,” said the SPCC president. “For $15, participants will receive the meal of their choice plus two additional bingo cards which doubles the chance of winning bingo, plus you will be entered into a drawing for a $100 gift card from the featured restaurant. You can directly support a restaurant just by purchasing a delicious meal to enjoy with bingo.”

“On behalf of SPCC and the Chamber of Commerce, we truly appreciate all of our local organizations and clubs sending this information out to their membership in support of local South Pasadena small businesses,” she said. “Together we can show them that we are here to support them and keep our community an amazing place to live and visit.”
