SPHS STEM Building
Construction on the SPHS STEM Building is well underway. Existing easements created challenging obstacles, but despite that, the next phase of construction will resume as scheduled in February.
Looking forward, building foundations will be set and underground utilities will be tied into the existing natural gas, water and sewer main lines along Diamond Avenue. These projects are scheduled to be completed outside of peak hours. Contractors will coordinate with the City of South Pasadena to post proper signage and notify the community of any needed lane closures.
By second quarter 2018, structural steel and building framing will begin.
SPHS Physical Education and
Athletic Facility
Half of the design drawings will be completed in February 2018 and final drawings will be completed and submitted to the Division of State Architects during second quarter 2018.
SPMS Hard Court & Field Project
Demolition and excavation began in January. Completion is scheduled for June 2018.
SPMS Old Gymnasium Repurposing
Design drawings are on track to be completed in March 2018 and will be submitted to the Division of State Architects in April 2018.
