The City of South Pasadena Planning Division will be presenting a project introduction of Phase 2 of the Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs) Ordinance Update – Facilitating ADUs production through implementing historic preservation standards, at a virtual meeting to be held Thursday, February 18, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Phase 2 of the ADUs Ordinance Update is to develop objective standards for ADUs on historic properties and/or in historic districts. This phase is funded through a Certified Local Government (CLG) grant from the State Office of Historic Preservation.
Architectural Resources Group (ARG), a specialized historic preservation firm, was selected in January to assist with Phase 2. While Phase 2 is beginning now and will follow a different timeline than Phase 1, recommendations for Phase 1 will be presented to Planning Commission on February 23, 2021.
The Planning Division requests that you RSVP for the Phase 2 ADUs meeting on February 18th by emailing email@example.com.
