South Pasadena Fire Department officials, joined by other local agencies, responded to a call of smoke coming from vents on Wednesday at a home in the 200 block of Grand Avenue.
Once at the scene just before noon, SPFD Engineer Justin Furtado said there was a light smell of smoke that quickly dissipated.
Crews from San Marino, Alhambra, and Pasadena helped members of the South Pasadena Fire Department in searching the residence for smoke.
“We haven’t located anything right now,” said Furtado, about 20 minutes after arriving at the residence. “Right now it’s just in the investigation mode.”
