Police say suspects broke glass on door to gain entry

An undisclosed amount of cash was stolen during a break-in earlier this month at the Canoe House restaurant in the 800 block of Fair Oaks Avenue, according to South Pasadena Police Dept. officials.

Authorities say suspects gained entry to the business between 12:30 to 7:30 a.m. on Dec. 9 by smashing the glass of a windowed door. Police say one suspect was described as a heavyset male, white or Hispanic about 5-feet-8 inches tall, wearing a striped long-sleeved shirt, dark pants, light colored shoes, light colored gloves with a covered face. The second suspect was described as a male, white or Hispanic, approximately 6 feet tall, wearing a light colored long sleeved shirt, dark pants and dark shoes.
