It’s official, the 2021 Rose Parade theme has been announced.
While new Tournament of Roses President Bob Miller took over as the new president of the organization, replacing South Pasadena’s Laura Farber who finished her one-year term in the high seat, local float builders are pleased, knowing those who want to submit an idea for the city’s next entry can now zero in on the theme.
“Dream. Believe. Achieve.” has been selected by Miller as the Pasadena Tournament of Roses theme; celebrating education’s ability to open doors, open minds and change lives.

“Education paves the path to success with a world of opportunities achieved through knowledge, compassion and determination. Education is the great equalizer,” explained Miller. “As a community college educator, I have seen firsthand the life-changing miracle that education provides. As students visualize their future, education becomes the bridge to accomplish their aspirations and transform lives for generations to come.”
Got an idea? Designs for the City of South Pasadena’s float in the 2021 Rose Parade to capture the “Dream. Believe. Achieve.” theme is being accepted until January 31.
South Pasadena Tournament of Roses officials are encouraging residents to learn more about the organization. If you would like to be a part of the city float, kindly attend the organization’s next committee meeting at 7:30 p.m. on February 4 in the council chambers at South Pasadena City Hall.
