The library's 'Wonderful Wednesday' series continues with math and science driven activities this Wednesday

The StemUp4Youth program returns for its third straight year to the South Pasadena Public Library on July 17 as part of the Library’s “Wonderful Wednesday” series. Stemup4Youth is an award winning organization which helps boost student interest in STEM subjects-Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.

This summer, students from Troy High School in Fullerton will be guiding participants through a variety of creative activities that demonstrate different science and engineering concepts. The 45-minute program begins at 3 p.m. in the Library’s Community Room located at 1115 El Centro Street in South Pasadena.

The Wonderful Wednesday program showcases a different entertainer or activity and is sponsored by the Friends of the South Pasadena Library, the South Pasadena Employees Association, and the National Charity League, San Marino chapter. Programming in this series continues through July 31.

The Wonderful Wednesday series is sponsored by the Friends of the South Pasadena Public Library, the South Pasadena Public Services Employees Association, and the National Charity League, San Marino Chapter. Due to limited resources and space, the Library is unable to accommodate daycares, school and other special groups at these performances.

The South Pasadena Public Library is open on Sundays 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.; Mondays and Fridays at 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.; Tuesdays through Thursdays 11:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.; Saturdays 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
