The South Pasadena Public Library’s Wonderful Wednesdays series kicks off with an energetic start on June 19 with a performance by international variety entertainer Fantastick Patrick.
The Wonderful Wednesdays series will be held with a different theme and entertainer every week through July 31. The programs will be held in the Library’s Community Room at 1115 El Centro Street from 3 to 4 p.m.
Fantastick Patrick mixes side-splitting comedy with absurd tricks and daring stunts. He has been performing since 2005 in over 480 cities in 17 countries. He has also entertained audiences on a ship in Antarctica.
His travels play into each of Patrick’s shows to create a special experience. Each show is unique because the LA-based artist uses interaction with the audience to guide the direction of his performances. He might be juggling, spinning plates, or balancing huge objects. Whatever Patrick may be doing, it will be special for each audience.
The Wonderful Wednesday series is sponsored by the Friends of the South Pasadena Public Library, the South Pasadena Public Services Employees Association, and the National Charity League of San Marino Chapter.
Due to limited resources and space, the Library is unable to accommodate daycares, school and other special groups at these performances.
