In an astonishing display of golfing excellence, Sheila Ballesteros, president of the South Pasadena Women’s Golf Association, made not one but two holes-in-one during tournament play at the historic Arroyo Seco Golf Course.
The remarkable feat occurred on Day 1 of the Eclectic Tournament, where Ballesteros first aced Hole 1, a 90-yard Par 3. As if that wasn’t already impressive, she went on to sink another hole-in-one at Hole 15, sending shockwaves of awe across the fairways.
“The Golf God shown her light brightly across the fairways,” read a celebratory message from the association. Fellow members quickly dubbed Sheila the “Golf Goddess” of the Arroyo Seco greens.

A Statistical Rarity Worth Celebrating
According to golfing statistics, the odds of a golfer scoring two aces in a single round are estimated to be 67 million to one—a number not lost on Sheila’s fellow players. The celebration that followed included emotional reactions and photo ops around the flagstick.

A First for South Pasadena Women’s Golf Association
The South Pasadena Women’s Golf Association confirmed this is the first time in the group’s history that any member has made two holes-in-one in the same round. The course itself, known for its charm and challenge, was the perfect stage for this momentous accomplishment.

“This is more than luck—it’s a legacy,” said a fellow golfer. “Sheila’s achievement will be remembered as one of the most exciting moments in our club’s history.”
