Rebuild Altadena, Pasadena Heritage and Altadena Heritage have joined forces to present “Rebuilding in the Style of Altadena,” a lecture series created to help homeowners rebuild in the wake of the Eaton Fire, exploring what it means to preserve the architectural character that has long defined Altadena.
Rebuild Altadena’s official advisor Steve Lamb will lead the lecture series. A long-time Altadena Town Council member and preservation consultant, Lamb has been a trusted voice for thoughtful, place-based rebuilding in the San Gabriel foothills. He will bring together experts in architecture, historic preservation and native landscapes to examine not simply how historic homes look, but the design principles and philosophies that make Craftsman, Spanish and Mid-Century Modern architecture distinctive.
2026 Series Schedule
All events begin with a short reception at 5:30 and talk at 6:00 PM. They will take place at the historic Woodbury-Story House in Altadena, with the exception of September 16th which will be hosted at the Pasadena Heritage’s headquarters, the Historic Blinn House.
