Community concerts feature acclaimed singer-songwriters in Arroyo Grande and South Pasadena
A spirited edition of the Wine & Song Road Show is coming to Arroyo Grande on Sunday, June 8, featuring Brothers Landau and the acclaimed duo Heather Pierson and Shawn Nadeau. The evening begins with a community potluck at 6:00 p.m., followed by live music at 7:00 p.m., offering a relaxed, intimate gathering for fans of original music and Americana vibes.
Tall Men Group Returns to Wine & Song on June 11
On Wednesday, June 11 at 7:00 p.m., the beloved Tall Men Group returns to the Wine & Song stage in South Pasadena, performing at The Daily (1119 Fair Oaks Ave). Doors open at 6:00 p.m. with food and drink available for purchase.
Formed in 2012, the Tall Men Group began when the late Jimmy Yessian gathered five fellow musicians for monthly dinners where each brought a new, original song. That tradition grew into a songwriting collective that has released five albums over 13 years. Their live shows are known for “brotherly rapport, humor, well-crafted harmonies, captivating stories, and fine musicianship,” according to Yessian.
The current lineup includes Ed Tree, Severin Browne, Marty Axelrod, and John Stowers—four seasoned songwriters and performers trading vocals, stories, and instruments in a rich musical exchange.
