Wine & Song continues its residency at Lost Parrot Cafe this Wednesday August 9 with David Plenn guest hosting for the traveling troubadour, Brad Colerick. His guests will be Dulce Taylor and Shaun Cromwell. A note from David:

Hey friends,

David Plenn here — guest hosting another magical Wednesday evening Wine & Song show while Brad’s away. We had such an amazing show last week I can’t wait for this next installment. My good friend, Dulce Taylor, will be accompanied by the always-tasty guitarist, George Nauful, and percussionist Scott Breadman. Shaun Cromwell is bringing Beth Goodfellow on percussion, and I’m sure we’ll have some surprise appearances again. The Lost Parrot Cafe is really a cool, comfortable hang with a full bar and small, but excellent menu. 6pm doors, 7pm show. 1929 Huntington Drive in South Pas. See you there! -DP

About the artists:

A singer and writer of eclectic roots-inspired songs, Shaun Cromwell uses his guitar and voice to weave tales of intrigue and epics of sorrow. Drawing heavily from the pantheon of American roots traditions, he infuses his music with numerous contemporary influences. He has been a finalist at several prestigious songwriting competitions.

Dulcie Taylor cuts straight to the heart of the matter – be it about love, loss, or the shameful treatment of our planet. She is singularly focused. Her words, so carefully chosen, leave nothing on the table. She has shared the stage with a long and impressive list of artists, including Jerry Lee Lewis, Asleep at the Wheel, Guy Clark, John Gorka, and Kathy Mattea.

Lost Parrot Cafe, 1929 Huntington Dr. in South Pasadena. 6pm doors, 7pm music. Food and full bar available at the venue. $15 corkage.
