Bliss Bowen is a singer-songwriter and champion of the roots music scene in Southern California. Most of her childhood was spent between the Atlantic Ocean and the Pine Barrens of South Jersey. She has long been rooted in Sierra Madre where she finds abundant inspiration for her soulful Americana songs and stories. Her new album Ghost Trees, features bassist/co-producer Ted Russell Kamp, guitarist Dan Wistrom, and drummer Christopher Allis, all of whom will join her for this show.
John Zipperer tells tales of highways, rivers, and rails. From New England to Los Angeles via the Deep South, John has lived life to its fullest. He shares his experiences on the recent album Devil Rail. With road-tested songs from years of performing live, John draws inspiration from a variety of genres. He’ll be joined by Nick Kirgo and Tara Sitser. Also in town from Germany, we’ll hear from Hubertus Roesch.
