Wednesday’s Wine & Song at Lost Parrot Cafe will feature Kylie Rothfield and David Spitzfaden.
There is no denying the timeless, raw sense of emotion in Kylie Rothfield’s vocal delivery. She was a contestant on NBC’s The Voice in 2016, chosen by Alicia Keys who coached her throughout the season. She is also an accomplished self-taught, Epiphone-endorsed guitarist. Her songs are honest, expressive, and frequently turn up on popular TV shows.
David Spitzfaden is a singer-songwriter and guitarist from San Diego, who now resides in the Los Angeles area. From a young age, he knew he wanted to perform. Influenced by John Mayer, David Gilmour, and Stevie Ray Vaughan, at 17 he released his first studio EP. He recently played guitar on Lizzo’s holiday release “Someday at Christmas” and his latest single “Cross that Line” was nominated for a San Diego Music Award.
At Lost Parrot Cafe, 1929 Huntington Dr. in South Pasadena. 6pm doors, 7pm music. Food and full bar available at the venue. $15 corkage.
