According to our Nighttime Mayor, Brad Colerick, a great show is coming this week as Tina Ross is in town for the FAR-West Folk Alliance and Brian Joseph comes out of hiding for the evening for Wine & Song at Lost Parrot Cafe. “Big shout-out to Kris Morrish for leading us to the Lost Parrot. It’s turned out to be such a wonderful spot for our Wednesday night gatherings,” says Colerick.
After a full career as a Chiropractor, New York native Tina Ross is on fire writing, recording, and performing. She was named Focus Music’s 2023 Rising Artist shortly after releasing her debut album. Tina’s soaring, intimate vocals bring her music to life like timeless paintings. An elegant fierceness runs through her songs, speaking to wonder, humility, doubt, and defiance. Brian Joseph simply does it all — he’s a playwright, screenwriter, novelist, photographer, author, actor, chef, teacher, artist, and triathlete. His music can be heard on How I Met Your Mother, America’s Next Top Model and various other TV shows and commercials. One of Brian’s tunes — “We’re Gonna Laugh” can even be found on a Brad Colerick album. He is a father of four and has two large lazy dogs. We’ll also hear from special guest Mike Berman.
At Lost Parrot Cafe, 1929 Huntington Dr. in South Pasadena. 6pm doors, 7pm music. Food and full bar available at the venue. $15 corkage.
