Wine & Song at Lost Parrot Cafe | Happenings for Coming Weeks

As South Pasadena’s beloved WINE & SONG gets ready to celebrate 15 years, take a look at the upcoming events that Brad and the gang have in store for us, including Wednesday Wine & Song at Lost Parrot Cafe, the Eclectic Music Festival, and concerts at Jeweled Universe.

“Our 15-year anniversary of Wine & Song is coming up later this year. Zowie!!” exclaims Brad Colerick. “That’s a big number. I’m not going to say thank you for supporting live music, because it feels more like we’re supporting each other. Wine & Song has become quite a community, and I cherish every Wednesday night I’m able to spend with you all.”

Mark your calendars now for the Eclectic Music Festival on April 27, where Colerick is once again putting together an outstanding lineup of musical acts that will perform on multiple stages throughout the city. The Eclectic Preview Party will be held on March 24, which is a fundraising event for the music festival that helps keep the music free.

Wednesday’s Wine & Song on February 21 at 7pm at Lost Parrot Cafe will feature Jodi Siegel and Jeff Plankenhorn and promises to be a great one. Doors open at 6pm. Show starts at 7pm. Fabulous food and full bar. 1929 Huntinton Drive in South Pasadena. Tickets available in advance at link below or at the door.

Jodi Siegel was born in the home of the blues — Chicago. She relocated to California where she played and sang in numerous bands up and down the coast. She has shared the stage with the likes of Albert King, Robert Cray, and J.D. Souther. Her songs have been recorded by Maria Muldaur, Marcia Ball, and Teresa James, and her latest album “Wild Hearts” is filled with compelling songs, cool grooves, smart lyrics and some of the best musicians in Los Angeles.

For Jeff Plankenhorn, there’s nothing quite like the feeling of bringing people together to experience the joy music brings. His songwriting, expressive vocals, and musicianship are front and center on his latest album, Alone At Sea, produced by Colin Linden. Jeff has been recognized with Austin Music Award nominations for Musician of the Year and Best Guitarist for “The Plank” a hybrid lap steel guitar he designed himself.
