AUTO BURGLARY

  • 5-28-19, 1:49 PM to 2:44 PM, 800 block of Park. ’18 Chrysler 300. Suspect(s) shatter window and take loss. Suspect(s) then make unauthorized transactions with victim’s credit cards. LOSS: Purse, satchel bag, wallet, credit card, U.S. currency.
  • 5-29-19, 7:06 AM to 7:23 AM, 1700 block of Lyndon. ’14 Nissan Pathfinder. Suspect(s) gain entry into victim’s vehicle through unknown means and take loss. LOSS: Vehicle registration.
  • 6-2-19, 10:06 AM to 10:39 AM, 1000 block of Lohman. ’17 BMW 530i. Suspect(s) shatter window and take loss. LOSS: Briefcase, documents.
  • 6-2-19, 10:48 AM, 1000 block of Lohman. ’14 Infiniti Qx60. Suspect(s) shatter window and take loss. LOSS: Purse, wallet, sunglasses, glasses, bank cards, miscellaneous cards, make up bag, make up.
  • 6-2-19, 11:55 AM to 11:57 AM, 1000 block of Lohman. ’14 Honda Accord. Suspect(s) shatter window and take loss. LOSS: Wallet, bank cards, U.S. currency, miscellaneous cards.

DRUNK IN PUBLIC

  • 5-28-19, 5:16 PM to 5:30 PM, 600 block of Mission. Officers respond to a call regarding an injury traffic collision involving a pedestrian and find suspect to be under the influence of alcohol and unable to care for herself. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Female, White, 20 years, South Pasadena.
  • 5-31-19, 6:50 PM to 7:11 PM, 600 block of Mission. Officers respond to a call involving a subject attempting to purchase alcohol with a fake ID. Officers find suspect to be under the influence of alcohol and unable to care for herself. Officers also find suspect to be in possession of stolen merchandise. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Female, White, 20 years, South Pasadena.
  • 6-2-19, 1:12 AM to 2:35 AM, 1700 block of Camino Lindo. Officers respond to a call regarding a subject causing a disturbance and find suspect to be under the influence of alcohol and unable to care for herself. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Female, 48 years, Montebello.

DUI

  • 5-29-19, 1:19 AM to 2:00 AM, Meridian/Hope. Officers respond to a traffic collision and find suspect to be under the influence of alcohol and unable to care for herself. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Female, White, 20 years, Los Angeles.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

  • 5-29-19, 5:33 AM to 5:53 AM, 400 block of Oaklawn. Suspect gains entry through an unlocked door as victim is sleeping. Victim’s dog starts to bark which awakens victim. Victim confronts suspect and suspect flees. Officers respond and locate suspect a few blocks away. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, White, 37 years, Pasadena. LOSS: None.
  • 5-29-19, 9:08 PM to 9:25 PM, 800 block of Magnolia. Suspect breaks boarded up window to gain entry into victim’s home. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, White, 29 years. LOSS: None.
  • 5-31-19, 11:21 AM to 12:05 PM, 800 block of Orange Grove Place (attempt). Suspect(s) shatter rear window in an attempt to gain entry into victim’s residence, which activates alarm. Suspect(s) flee without gaining entry. LOSS: None.

THEFT

  • 5-15-19, 8:30 AM to 7:15 PM, 900 block of Meridian. Suspect(s) remove lock from bike rack and take loss. LOSS: Bicycle, lock.
  • 5-16-19, 11:30 AM to 7:30 AM, 1100 block of Huntington. Suspect(s) take loss from victim’s backyard. LOSS: Bicycle.
  • 5-29-19, 7:55 AM to 5-30-19, 7:55 AM, 1400 block of Fremont. Suspect(s) remove lock and take loss. LOSS: Bicycle.
  • 6-1-19, 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, 1500 block of Milan. Suspect(s) take loss from victim’s front porch. LOSS: Parcel packages.
  • 4-29-19, 5:11 PM to 5:12 PM, 1200 block of Marengo. Suspect takes loss from victim’s front porch. LOSS: Parcel Package.
  • 5-6-19, 6:30 PM to 5-7-19, 8:45 AM, 1800 block of Fair Oaks. Suspect removes loss from victim’s property. LOSS: Video doorbell.

IDENTITY THEFT/CREDIT CARD FRAUD/CHECK FRAUD

  • 2-17-19, 12:00 AM, 800 block of Milan. Suspect calls bank and impersonates victim, asking to redeem reward points as cash and transferred into another account.
  • 5-21-19, 10:05 AM to 5-24-19, 10:05 AM, 600 block of Grand. Suspect(s) attempt to open a credit account with victim’s personal information. Suspect(s) also make unauthorized purchases with victim’s information.
  • 10-28-16, 12:00 AM to 6-3-19, 9:27 AM, 1300 block of Milan. Suspect(s) use victim’s information and opens an unauthorized account.
  • 6-3-19, 12:10 PM to 12:33 PM, 1400 block of Rollin. Suspect(s) use victim’s information and opens several unauthorized accounts.

FRAUD BY FALSE PRETENSE

  • 5-23-19, 2:00 PM to 4:35 PM, 200 block of Huntington, Alhambra. Suspect 1 calls victim and poses as an agent of the Social Security Administration. Suspect 1 claims that victim owes the IRS money for fraudulent taxes and would be arrested if the IRS was not repaid. Suspect 1 then transfers victim to Suspect 2, who poses as an officer of the South Pasadena Police Department. Suspect 2 instructs victim to deposit money into a Bitcoin machine and send the currency to Suspect 2. Victim deposits money and sends the currency to Suspect 2.

POSSESSING, PASSING FICTITIOUS CHECKS OR BILLS

  • 5-31-19, 3:05 PM to 3:22 PM, 1200 block of Fair Oaks. Suspects attempt to purchase gift cards with counterfeit bills. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: S1 – Male. S2 – Male, Hispanic, 14-17 years, wearing all red clothing.

POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

  • 5-31-19, 2:33 AM to 2:57 AM, Monterey/Via Del Rey. Officer conducts a traffic stop and finds the driver to be in possession of cocaine and brass knuckles. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Asian, 21 years, Baldwin Park.
  • 6-2-19, 1:39 PM to 2:36 PM, 1100 block of Fair Oaks. Officers contact and find suspect 1 to be in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Suspect 2 is found to be in possession of stolen property. SUSPECTS ARRESTED: S1 – Male, Hispanic, 32 years, Los Angeles. S2 – Female, 33 years, Commerce.

PERSON UNDER 21 POSSESS ALCOHOL

  • 5-31-19, 10:13 PM to 10:57 PM, 600 block of Mound. Officers respond to a call regarding a subject on a roof and find suspect to be a minor in possession of alcohol. SUBJECT CITED: Male, White, 18 years, South Pasadena.
