The Weekly Crime Summary is a list of reported auto thefts, burglaries, robberies and other activities occurring in the City of South Pasadena. THEFT

• 3-6-19, 1:48 PM, 1100 block of Fair Oaks (Vons). Suspects take loss and leave store without paying. SUSPECT VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: Gold Pontiac sedan. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: S1 – Male, Hispanic, 35 years, wearing a light brown jacket and gray pants. S2 – Female, Hispanic, 25 years, blonde hair, wearing a black sweatshirt. LOSS: Liquor.

• 3-6-19, 8:25 PM, 700 block of Fair Oaks. Suspect gets into an argument and takes victim’s loss. Suspect throws loss as he runs away. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male, White, late 30s, tall. LOSS: Cell phone (recovered).

• 3-7-19, 9:20 PM, 1100 block of Fair Oaks (Vons). Suspects take loss and leaves store without paying. SUSPECT VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: White, newer model Honda. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: S1 – Male, Hispanic, 20 years, facial hair. S2 – Female, Hispanic, 20 years. LOSS: Liquor.

• 2-23-19, 1:52 PM to 3-2-19, 11:00 AM, 300 block of Los Alisos. Suspect(s) take loss from victim’s front porch. Suspect(s) take loss from victim’s mailbox and make a fraudulent charge on an earlier date. Suspect(s) attempt to open up an unauthorized account with victim’s information. LOSS: Package, mail.

• 3-6-19, 12:00 AM to 7:00 AM, 1900 block of Oak. ’18 Audi Q5. Suspect(s) take loss from victim’s unlocked vehicle. LOSS: Sunglasses.

• 3-6-19, 2:03 PM to 2:05 PM, 500 block of Floral Park. Suspect takes loss from victim’s front porch. VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: Black sedan. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male, wearing black sweatshirt. LOSS: Package.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

• 3-6-19, 7:45 AM to 6:30 PM, 900 block of Magnolia. Suspect(s) gain entry into victim’s residence by breaking a kitchen window latch. LOSS: Pocket watch, jacket.

• 3-7-19, 12:00 PM to 12:06 PM, 1400 block of Fremont. Suspect gains entry to victim’s residence by entering through a bedroom window. Suspect flees as victim contacts suspect. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male, 40-50 years, wearing a black hat, white shirt, beige pants, and black backpack. LOSS: Jewelry. • 3-7-19, 7:45 AM to 5:20 PM, 800 block of Garfield. Suspect(s) gain entry to victim’s residence by entering an unlocked door. LOSS: Unknown.

DUI

• 3-6-19, 1:14 AM, Fair Oaks/Grevelia. Officers respond to a call regarding a traffic collision and find suspect to be driving under the influence of alcohol. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Hispanic, 32 years, Pasadena.

• 3-6-19, 8:11 PM, Fremont/Huntington. Officer responds to a call regarding a traffic collision and finds suspect to be driving under the influence of alcohol. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Female, White, 33 years, Tujunga.

• 3-7-19, 10:37 PM, Garfield/Montrose. Officers respond to a call regarding a traffic collision and find suspect to be driving under the influence of alcohol. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Female, Asian, 26 years, Los Angeles.

IDENTITY THEFT/CREDIT CARD FRAUD/CHECK FRAUD

• 8-15-18, 9:26 AM to 8-21-18, 10:05 AM, 900 block of Fair Oaks. Suspect calls victim’s business and places multiple orders for merchandise using fraudulent credit cards.

• 3-6-19, 1:00 PM to 1:01 PM. Suspect uses victim’s information and files a fraudulent unemployment claim.

VANDALISM

  • 3-9-19, 12:00 PM to 3-11-19, 7:30 AM, 800 block of El Centro. Suspect(s) climb onto roof and writes graffiti on victim’s property.

For graffiti removal, call the City of South Pasadena “Graffiti Removal Hotline” at 626-403-7249. This is a 24-hour a day recording. A written release is required prior to removal from private property.
