THEFT

• 2-18-25, 3 PM to 2-19-25, 7:30 AM, 1700 block of Ellincourt. ’20, Toyota
RAV4. Suspect(s) reaches through victim’s partially opened vehicle
window and takes loss. LOSS: School textbooks.

• 2-22-25, 9:49 PM, 900 block of Fair Oaks (Rite Aid). Suspect enters store
and takes loss, then exits store without paying for loss. LOSS: Drinks
(recovered). SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Hispanic, 32 years, La Mirada.

• 2-23-25, 3:50 PM, 300 block of El Centro. ’20, Dodge R15. Suspect(s)
smashes victim’s vehicle window to gain entry and takes loss. LOSS: Air
compressor and staple gun.

• 2-23-25, 4:32 PM, 900 block of Fair Oaks (Rite Aid). Suspect enters store
and takes loss, then exits store without paying for loss. LOSS: Cosmetics.
SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male, White, 30 years, wearing a black cap,
khaki pants and a black sweater.
• 2-24-25, 7 PM to 2-25-25, 9:15 AM, 1600 block of Camino Lindo. ’21, Chevy
Silverado. Suspect(s) enters victim’s unlocked vehicle and takes loss.
LOSS: Driver’s license, bank card and cash.

• 2-25-25, 8:55 AM, 1200 block of Fair Oaks (Pavilions). Suspect enters store
and takes loss, then exits store without paying for loss. LOSS: Drinks and
misc. items. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male, Hispanic, 30 years,
wearing a black hoodie and gray pants.

• 2-24-25, 6:40 PM to 2-25-25, 10:50 AM, 600 block of Meridian. ’17, Nissan
Sentra. Suspect(s) gains entry into victim’s vehicle by unknown means and
takes loss. LOSS: Pillow, hamper and clothes.

COMMIT MAIL THEFT

2-26-25, 12:18 AM, Fremont/El Centro. Officer sees suspects standing next to
postal collection box “phishing” for mail. Suspects quickly walk towards a waiting
vehicle. Officers contact suspects and discover numerous items to steal mail.
SUSPECTS ARRESTED: S1 – Male, Hispanic, 29 years, Los Angeles. S2 – Male,
Hispanic, 27 years, Los Angeles. S2 – Male, Hispanic, 28 years, Los Angeles.

IDENTITY THEFT/FRAUD

• 1-19-25 to 1-21-25. Victim responds to a social media post regarding a
vehicle for sale. Victim meets seller (suspect) and purchases vehicle.
Victim later discovers the vehicle is stolen.

• 9-29-24 to 2-24-25. Victim mails loss, suspect gains access to loss by
unknown means and alters loss. Suspect(s) then cashes loss. LOSS:
Check.

• 2-17-25 to 2-26-25. Victim mails loss, suspect gains access to loss by
unknown means and alters loss. Suspect(s) then cashes loss. LOSS:
Check.

• 2-20-25. Suspect(s) gains access to victim’s bank account by unknown
means and redeems victim’s reward points.

• 2-28-25, 2:30 PM, 700 block of Fair Oaks (Arco). Suspect attempts to
purchase gas with counterfeit bills.

ANNOY/HARASSING PHONE CALLS

2-24-25 to 2-28-25. Victim sells item online to suspect. Suspect is dissatisfied
with the item and asks for a refund. Suspect makes harassing phones calls to
victim.

POSSESS CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE WHILE ARMED WITH FIREARM

2-25-25, 2:34 AM, Grevelia/Garfield. Suspect is stopped for a traffic violation and
is found to be in possession of a controlled substance and a loaded firearm.
SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Juvenile.

CONSPIRACY TO COMMIT CRIME

2-19-25, 1:50 PM, 900 block of Fair Oaks (Bank of America). Victim enters bank
and S1 watches as victims make a cash withdrawal. Witnesses see S1 follow
victims out of the bank speaking to an unknown subject on a cell phone. S2 places
a sharp object on the victim’s vehicle tire. As victims drive away, the vehicle tire
goes flat. S1 sees that witness are following him and walks away. Officers locate
S1 but S2 is not located. SUSPECT ARRESTED: S1 – Male, Hispanic, 66 years,
Los Angeles. S2 (outstanding) – Male, Hispanic.

• 3-3-25, 6:23 AM, Meridian/Hope.

• 2-25-25, 1:50 PM, 1000 block of Hope (hit-and-run).
• 2-26-25, 6:22 AM, 600 block of Forest.
• 2-27-25, 8:30 AM, Huntington/Garfield.
• 2-27-25, 6:48 PM, 1700 block of Garfield.
• 2-27-25, 8:30 AM, Huntington/Garfield.
• 2-28-25, 4 AM, Orange Grove/110 freeway.
• 3-2-25, 5:45 PM, 700 block of Fair Oaks (hit-and-run).
