The South Pasadenan and WISPPA cordially invite South Pasadena residents to a virtual candidate forum on Monday, September 21 at 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
SOUTH PASADENA CITY COUNCIL CANDIDATES SCHEDULED TO ATTEND ARE

The forum is an opportunity for you to get to know the candidates running for South Pasadena City Council and ask questions before casting your vote. The forum will be conducted as a Webinar with all the candidates participating remotely through Zoom. Residents will be able to tune in on that date and time or view the video at their leisure in the days leading up to the election.
Linda Wah, Trustee, Pasadena City College Board Member – Area 5, will be the moderator.
Each participating candidate will give opening and closing statements. They will answer questions, grouped into 5 categories, that have been collected from residents prior to the event. Please submit your questions below. The questions submitted on this website will be aggregated and summarized by the committee based on relevance to the categories, number of similar questions and range of questions while keeping the forum within the 2 hour length. The questions will be shared with the candidates approximately 1 hour prior to the forum.
Both the South Pasadenan and WISPPA commit to upholding standards to ensure the integrity of this forum. Neither The South Pasadenan nor WISPPA have endorsed any of the candidates. Some individuals have endorsed candidates as a private citizen of South Pasadena. No one on this panel is working with, or on any candidates’ campaign. The committee members have pledged to conduct a fair forum for all involved.
