South Pasadena may be a small town, but by no means should it be underestimated when it comes to the wide variety of cuisine that it offers.
The 8th annual Taste of South Pasadena, presented by the Rotary Club, saw a record breaking attendance and unprecedented 35 participating restaurants and businesses, breaking an all-time record thus far.
Hundreds flocked to the city from all over Southern California, some traveling from as distant as Orange County and Simi Valley.
With a VIP wine tasting to kick off the event, put on by The Garagiste Festival, citizens proceeded to traverse the town with sense of discovery, possibly finding hidden gems nestled within the city limits.
The Taste also featured newer additions to the town’s fare, including Jones Coffee Roasters, the X20 Cafe, and KJ Korean Tofu and BBQ.
Other South Pasadenan classics participated as well with Gus’s BBQ, Mamma’s Brick Oven Pizza & Pasta, and Fair Oaks Pharmacy.
However one wanted to spend their night, the town was their oyster – so to speak – to mix and match their 3-course (or 35 course) meal.
