Superbowl Sunday | Best places to go watch the game! - If we missed one, tell us! media@southpasadenan.com

It’s Super Bowl Season! On February 3rd, 2019 The Los Angeles Rams are going to square off against the New England Patriots. Kick off is at 3:30pm. One of the great things about the Super Bowl is you don’t really have to be a fan to enjoy the game, it’s the camaraderie that can be a blast for you non-sport fans. Not to mention the commercials which always deliver a laugh. The half time show is something a lot of people are looking forward to as well this year featuring Maroon 5, Big Boi and Travis Scott, so if you know who those artists are and enjoy them then, by all means, enjoy!

Pasadena, Alhambra and of course our beloved South Pasadena have plenty of places to watch the game with your friends and family. Here’s a few places you can go have fun and stay local, don’t forget you can take an Uber or Lyft if you want to be drinking.

There may be no more delicious expression of island culture and hospitality than Canoe House. The owners of Wild Thyme Cafe have brought a whole new concept to town with an entirely remodeled space reminiscent of a Hawaiian plantation house. You will enjoy the casual and fun tropical setting, whether sitting in the Tiki Bar under the outrigger canoe, or outside dining next to the ambiance of a fire pit, all while enjoying the chef’s delicious Hawaiian flavors and sipping on a craftsman beer or tropical libation from the Canoe House bar. Time moves slower in a Hawaiian beach house.
