Successful Vaccine Drive for SPUSD Students

SPUSD RELEASE

On Saturday, May 22, 2021, South Pasadena Unified School District (SPUSD) in partnership with USC Pharmacy held a COVID-19 vaccination drive for students ages 12 and older at South Pasadena Middle School.

USC Pharmacy employees vaccinated 139 patients during the clinic. The average age of individuals receiving vaccinations was 15.56 years old, with the youngest recipient being 12 years old and the oldest being just over 61 years old.

Thank you to everyone who participated and to our partners at USC Pharmacy. A second drive will be held on June 12, 2021 to administer second doses and to offer first doses to other students and family members who are seeking vaccination at that time.
