Shoppers who want to bid on auction items at the Online Crunch Time Auction sponsored by the South Pasadena Tournament of Roses can now preview the catalogue at auctria.events/SPTORCRUNCH. The auction opens for bidding at 12 a.m. Dec. 27, 2023, and closes at noon on Jan. 1, 2024.
More than 70 auction items are being offered online. These include valuable lessons, sought-after sports and theatre tickets, restaurant certificates, jewelry, services and other premium prizes.
Auctions, both live and silent, will also be part of the annual “Crunch Time Party.” This annual fundraiser for the float will be held from 6 to 10 p.m. on Dec. 29 at the War Memorial Building. Visit the same site, auctria.events/SPTORCRUNCH, for tickets.
Proceeds from all fundraisers go toward expenses for the South Pasadena float, which are estimated to be $150,000. “Boogie Fever,” the city’s 2024 float, is now being decorated at the War Memorial Building for the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade Jan. 1.
