THEFT

• 3-23-21, 7:46 AM, 1400 Block of Maple. Victim is moving items into vehicle and suspect takes loss from opened vehicle. LOSS: Jewelry box. SUSPECT VEHICLE: Black, Chevy Impala. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male, 5’07”, 230 lbs, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and a blue medical face mask.

• 3-23-21, 10:00 AM to 10:25 AM, 1000 Block of Mound (Calvary Preschool). Suspect(s) enters school grounds and takes unattended loss. LOSS: I-pad.

• 3-23-21, 4:52 PM, 900 Block of Fair Oaks (Rite Aid). Suspect(s) enter store and take loss then exits without paying for loss. LOSS: Cellular devices and a bluetooth speaker. SUSPECTS DESCRIPTION: S1- Male, 5’ 08”, 200 lbs, with a cross tattoo on his right cheek, facial acne, black messy hair, wearing a black sweatshirt, a white t-shirt, baggy black pants, and black shoes. S2- Male, 5’ 11” 2200 lbs, with short black hair, wearing a white t-shirt black shorts, black shoes, and dawning a gray fanny pack.

• 3-23-21, 9:00 AM to 3-25-21, 8:15 AM, 600 Block of Milan. ’02 Toyota Prius. Suspect(s) cut and remove loss from victim’s vehicle. LOSS: Catalytic converter.

• 3-25-21, 5:00 PM, 1100 Block of Fair Oaks (Vons). Suspect enters store and takes loss then exits store without paying for loss. LOSS: Groceries (recovered). SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, 27 years, White, South Gate.

• 3-20-21, unknown time to 3-21-21, unknown time, 1600 Block of Amberwood. ’05 Toyota Prius. Suspects(s) cut and remove loss from victim’s vehicle. LOSS: Catalytic converter.

• 3-26-21, 9:00 PM to 3-27-21, 7:00 AM, 100 Block of Monterey, ’08 Toyota. Suspect(s) take loss from victim’s vehicle. LOSS: License plate.

• 3-27-21, 8:00 AM to 10:55 AM, 1000 Block of Lohman, ’18 Tesla Model 3. Suspect(s) take loss from victim’s unlocked vehicle. LOSS: Golf bag, golf clubs, vehicle valet key, house keys, and garage door remote.

• 3-27-21, 9:21 PM, 1100 Block of Fair Oaks (Vons). Suspect enters store and takes loss then exits without paying for loss. LOSS: Groceries (recovered). SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Black, 55 years, Racine, Wisconsin.

• 2-16-21, 4:57 AM, 4900 Block of Harriman. Suspect(s) take loss from victim’s mailbox. LOSS: Mail.

• 3-24-21, 4:00 PM to 7:50 PM, 1000 Block of Sycamore. ’14 Hyundai Elantra. Suspect(s) tamper with driver’s door lock mechanism of victim’s vehicle.

• 3-28-21, 10:15 AM to 5:00 PM, 500 Block of Magnolia. ’04 Honda CRV. Suspect(s) cut and remove loss from victim’s vehicle. LOSS: Catalytic converter.

• 3-27-21, unknown time to 3-28-21, unknown time, 700 Block of Orange Grove, ’06 Toyota Matrix. Suspect(s) take loss from victim’s vehicle. LOSS: License plate.

FRAUD

• 3-19-21, 10:30 AM to 3-20-21, 10:30 AM, 100 Block of Monterey. Victim receives an email from an individual impersonating someone the victim is familiar with, however, the victim is unaware of the impersonation. Victim then transfers U.S currency over to suspect’s financial account per instructions. LOSS: U.S currency.

• 10-12-21 to 10-14-21, 4500 Block of Franklin. Suspect(s) withdraw U.S currency from victim’s bank account. LOSS: U.S currency.

STOLEN VEHICLE

• 3-26-21, 9:15 AM, 400 Block of Mission (attempt). ’99 Land Rover. S1 pries door lock to gain entry into victim’s vehicle. Victim is inside residence and sees S1 inside vehicle. Victim yells at S1 and S1 runs to a waiting vehicle driven by S2. Suspects then drives away. SUSPECT VEHICLE: Silver, pickup truck. SUSPECTS DESCRIPTION: S1- Male, 6’ 00” 210 lbs, with dark hair and a mustache. S2- Male, wearing a dark colored shirt.

• 3-22-21, 1:00 PM to 3-26-21, 12:20 PM, Mission and Indiana (attempt). ’13 Hyundai Sonata. Suspect(s) pry door lock to gain entry into victim’s vehicle then tamper with ignition, but fail to start vehicle.

• 3-13-21, 2 PM to 3:30 PM, 1000 block of Arroyo Verde. ’97, Honda Accord. Recovered on 3-29-21 by LAPD.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

  • 3-26-21, 10:00 PM to 3-27-21, 1:00 AM, 1800 Block of Grevelia (garage). Suspect(s) enter an opened detached garage of apartment complex then climb over interior wall to gain entry into an adjacent garage (victim). LOSS: Unknown.

AUTO BURGLARY

  • 3-27-21, 4:00 PM to 9:40 PM, 800 Block of Fair View, ’19 Jeep Wrangler. Suspect(s) smashes victim’s vehicle window to gain entry. LOSS: None.

DISCHARGE FIREARM IN A NEGLIGENT MANNER

  • 3-22-21, 4:47 PM, 1100 Block of Huntington. Subject negligently discharges firearm inside residence. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Hispanic, 30 years, South Pasadena.

DUI

  • 3-23-21, 4:03 AM, Huntington and Del Mar. Suspect is stopped for a traffic violation and is found to be driving under the influence of alcohol. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Hispanic, 26 years, North Hills.

PUBLIC INTOXICATION

  • 3-23-21, 10:16 AM, Mission and Fair Oaks. Officers respond to the location in regards to a disoriented subject. Subject is found to be intoxicated and unable to care for herself. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Female, White, 34 years, Alhambra.

ASSAULT

• 3-27-21, 7:00 PM, Mission and Meridian. Victim and suspect are acquaintances and get into an argument. Suspect hits victim then leaves on a Gold Line train. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male, Hispanic, 5’ 10”, 190 lbs, with brown hair, and brown eyes, wearing a flower print shirt, and dirty jeans.

• 3-28-21, 4:27 AM, 2000 Block of Pine. Victim (father) and suspect (daughter) get into an argument and suspect cuts victim.
