STOLEN VEHICLE
12-17-22, 11:00 PM to 12-18-22, 9:00 AM, 1600 block of Meridian. ’09 Ford F150. ASSAULT 12-13-22, 9:40 PM to 9:55 PM, 700 block of Mission. Suspect gets into a verbal altercation with victim and drives his vehicle into victim. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male, Hispanic, 35 – 40 years, wearing a black beanie, dark gray jacket, and blue jeans.
DUI
12-14-22, 11:36 PM, 700 block of Fair Oaks. Officer responds to a call regarding a reckless driver and finds suspect to be driving under the influence of alcohol. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, White, 24 years.
VANDALISM
• 12-12-22, 5:00 PM to 12-13-22, 2:00 PM, 300 block of Pasadena. ’98 Mitsubishi Montero, ’01 Ford E250. Suspect(s) damage victim’s vehicles by puncturing a tire and tampering with a door lock and steering column.
• 12-17-22, 11:00 AM, 1400 block of Mission. ’17 Lincoln MKZ. Suspect kicks the rear passenger door of victim’s vehicle. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Wearing all dark clothing, mask covering face.
• 12-20-22, 1:20 AM, 400 block of Prospect. Suspect(s) throw eggs at victim’s residence.
COMMERCIAL BURGLARY
12-18-22, 11:23 PM, 900 block of Mission (Extra Space Storage). Suspect gains entry into business by puncturing a glass door window with an unknown object. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, black gloves, white full-face mask. LOSS: None.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY
12-18-22, 1:39 AM to 2:02 AM, 1100 block of Mound. Suspect damages a window screen and attempts to open a door. Suspect is found to be in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Hispanic, 33 years, Los Angeles.
FRAUD
• 11-15-22, 12:00 AM to 12-2-22, 12:00 PM. Suspect(s) use victim’s information to write and cash two fraudulent checks.
• 12-12-22, 4:57 PM, 600 block of Fair Oaks (Citizens Bank). Suspect attempts to cash a fraudulent check. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male, Hispanic, 20s, dark short hair, mustache, wearing dark jeans, black crewneck with white “Security” lettering on back. SUSPECT VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: Pickup truck.
• 12-8-22, 5:51 PM to 12-10-22, 1:34 PM. Suspect uses a fraudulent EBT card and makes several unauthorized transactions.
FRAUD BY FALSE PRETENSE
• 12-13-22, 12:05 PM. Victim answers a phone call from an unknown number. Suspect claims that victim’s daughter had been involved in a traffic collision and the suspect is going to hold the daughter hostage until ransom is paid. Suspect instructs victim to visit multiple stores in order send money. Victim complies and later discovers that daughter was never involved in a traffic collision and was safe the whole time.
• 12-14-22, 11:00 AM. Victim is browsing the internet and clicks on a pop-up window alerting that there is an issue with victim’s computer and to call the listed phone number to connect with a Microsoft representative. Suspects instruct victim to withdraw money from the bank and to purchase cryptocurrency from a Bitcoin ATM. Victim complies.
