On October 15, 2025, at 1:45 a.m., the South Pasadena Police Department received an alert from the Department’s Automated License Plate Reader system of a vehicle that had been stolen from the City of Pasadena.
Officers quickly located the vehicle and followed it into Los Angeles as additional officers arrived to safely conduct a high-risk stop. When attempting this high-risk traffic stop, the driver failed to yield, leading to a brief pursuit.
The chase lasted about thirty seconds before the driver crashed into a hillside while turning, rendering the vehicle inoperable. The driver, who was the only occupant, exited the vehicle and was taken into custody without further incident.

Nabors was arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle, felony evading, and the outstanding warrants. He was transported to Pasadena City Jail for booking.
