THEFT

• 4-28-21, 9:40 PM, 1100 Block of Fair Oaks (Vons). Suspect enters store and takes loss without paying. LOSS: Liquor. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, White, 44 years, San Diego.

• 5-3-21, 4:25 AM, 1200 Block of Huntington. Suspect removes loss from the roof of victim’s garage. LOSS: Security camera. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male, wearing a black hoodie with unknown lettering on the front, a beanie with the hood over it, a facial mask, and dark pants.

FRAUD

• 4-16-21 to May 2021, 1800 Block of La Manzanita. Suspect(s) suggest victim to invest into cryptocurrency that suspect recommends. Victim complies and later discovers investment was a fraud. LOSS: U.S currency.

• 4-25-21, 9:30 PM, 1100 Block of Fair Oaks. Suspect calls victim claiming to be from OSHA and needed to pay for sanitizing equipment. Victim complies and later discovers fraud. LOSS: U.S currency.

• 4-23-21, 7:00 AM, 1200 Block of Stratford. Victim receives a notification that a SIM card had been changed and deactivated on their account, however, victim never authorized it. Suspect(s) then withdraw U.S currency out of victim’s financial account and cryptocurrency account. LOSS: U.S currency.

• 4-23-21, 12:30 AM, 500 Block of Grand. Victim responds to an email believing it was from Apple requesting to dispute a charge. Victim clicks on hyperlink in email which is found to be a fraudulent Apple website. LOSS: U.S currency.

• 3-20-21, 11:00 PM, 100 Block of Grand. Suspect(s) alter/deposit checks written by the victim who deposited them at a United Postal Service Deposit Box.

• 12-28-20, 8:14 PM to 3-16-21, 6:55 AM, 900 Block of Fair Oaks (Bank of America). Suspect(s) use victim’s employment development department card through unknown means and withdraw U.S currency out of victim’s financial account. LOSS: U.S currency.

• 3-10-21 to 4-12-21, 900 Block of Fair Oaks (Bank of America). Suspect(s) use victim’s employment development department card through unknown means and withdraw U.S currency out of victim’s financial account. LOSS: U.S currency.

• 4-17-21 to 4-18-21, 8:35 AM, 2000 Block of Marengo. Suspect(s) access victim’s financial account and deposit/withdraw U.S currency through unknown means. Suspect(s) also use victim’s personal information to apply for credit cards.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

  • 4-29-21, 7:30 PM to 4-30-21, 8:30 AM, 800 Block of Flores De Oro, ’13 Honda Odyssey. Suspect(s) enter victim’s residence through an unlocked door and takes vehicle keys. Suspect the takes loss. LOSS: ’13, Honda Odyssey.

POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

  • 5-1-21, 10:33 PM, Marmion and Arroyo Verde. Officers conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle and the passenger is found to be in possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, both occupants also have outstanding warrants. SUSPECTS ARRESTED: S1- Male, Hispanic, 48 years, Los Angeles. S2- Female, Hispanic, 28 years, Los Angeles.

PUBLIC INTOXICATION

  • 4-29-21, 7:50 PM, Mission and Meridian. Officers respond to the area regarding subjects fighting. Officers arrive and arrest one of the subjects who is found to be under the influence of alcohol and drugs. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Hispanic, 21 years, Los Angeles.

May 4 – 10, 2021

THEFT

• 5-4-21, 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM, 1200 Block of Meridian. ’15 Honda Fit. Suspect(s) enter victim’s unlocked vehicle and takes loss. LOSS: Sunglasses, vehicle registration, and insurance.

• 4-27-21, 3:35 AM to 3:40 AM, 500 Block of Fremont. Suspect enters victim’s property and takes loss from doorstep. LOSS: Shoes.

• 4-28-21, 7:45 PM to 4-30-21, 7:30 PM, ’05 Toyota Prius. Suspect(s) cut and remove loss from victim’s vehicle. LOSS: Catalytic converter.

• Unknown date and time, 1400 Block of Laurel. ’12 Audi A4. Suspect(s) enter victim’s unlocked vehicle and takes loss. LOSS: Wallet.

• 5-8-21, 4:15 AM, 1800 Block of La Manzanita. Officer conducts a traffic stop and suspects are found to have been stealing mail from mailboxes. Suspects are in possession of mail from LA, Altadena, San Marino, La Canada and South Pasadena. SUSPECTS ARRESTED: S1- Female, Hispanic, 41 years, Alhambra. S2- Male, Hispanic, 40 years, Alhambra.

FRAUD

• 5-4-21, 5:11 PM, 1300 Block of Fair Oaks (Chase Bank). Victim receives a phone call from suspect posing as a law enforcement officer and instructs victim to withdraw funds from financial account in order to make the accounts usable again.

• 4-26-21 to 5-5-21, 900 Block of Fair Oaks (Bank of America) and 1000 Block of Fair Oaks (Wells Fargo). Victim notices balance inquiries on financial accounts and suspect(s) withdraw U.S currency from victim’s financial accounts through unknown means. LOSS: U.S currency.

VEHICLE BURGLARY

  • 5-5-21, 10:50 AM to 10:55 AM, 400 Block of Fair Oaks, ’10 Acura TSX. Suspect(s) shatter front passenger window of victim’s vehicle and take loss. LOSS: Checkbook, driver’s license, U.S currency, credit card, health insurance cards, electronic ear buds, purse. SUSPECT VEHICLE: White, mid-2000, Lexus ES 350. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male, tall and thin build, wearing a white facemask, a dark baseball cap, dark t-shirt, dark shorts, white socks, and black/white tennis shoes.

STOLEN VEHICLE

  • 4-21-21, 10 AM to 11 AM, 100 Block of Monterey, ’19 Honda CRV. Recovered on 4-22-21 in South Pasadena.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY

  • 5-1-21, unknown time, 900 Block of Mission (Extra Space Storage). Suspect(s) enters victim’s storage unit by unknown means. LOSS: Unknown.

POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA

  • 5-1-21, 2:49 AM, 100 Block of Monterey. Officers conduct a traffic stop and one of the vehicle occupants is found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and a controlled substance. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Female, Hispanic, 24 years, Long Beach.

TRESPASSING

  • 5-9-21, 3:52 PM, 1700 Block of Mission. Suspect enters victim’s rear yard without permission and enters victim’s swimming pool. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Black, 30 years, Los Angeles.

May 11 – 17, 2021

THEFT

• 5-11-21, 11:37 AM, 400 Block of Fair Oaks (Ace Hardware). Suspect enters building and takes loss, then exits without paying. Officers locate suspect and is arrested. LOSS: Tools (recovered). SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Hispanic, 32 years, Los Angeles.

• 5-11-21, 8:45 PM to 5-12-21, 9:58 AM, 800 Block of Bonita. ’14 Kia Soul. Suspect(s) enter victim’s unlocked vehicle and take loss. LOSS: Wallet, skateboard, shoes, and a blanket.

• 5-12-21, 4:30 AM, 800 Block of Oneonta. ’15 Toyota Rav4. Suspect(s) takes loss from victim’s front porch and also enters victim’s unlocked vehicle but take no loss. Loss is recovered on the street. LOSS: Parcel package (recovered).

• 5-13-21, 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM, 1100 Block of Windsor. ’07 Honda Accord. Suspect(s) cut and remove loss from victim’s. LOSS: Catalytic converter.

• 5-16-21, 7:30 PM to 5-17-21, 11:30 AM, 1000 block of Sycamore. ’15 Toyota Sequoia. Suspect(s) cut and remove loss from victim’s vehicle. LOSS: Catalytic converter.

FRAUD

• 5-3-21, unknown hours, 600 Block of Prospect. Suspect(s) transfer U.S currency from victim’s financial account to another individual’s account. LOSS: U.S currency.

• 5-8-21, unknown time, 2000 Block of Meridian. Suspect(s) make unauthorized purchases through unknown means using victim’s financial account. LOSS: U.S currency.

• 3-22-21, 11:50 PM to 3-29-21, unknown hours, 1500 Block of Maple. Suspect(s) withdraw U.S currency from victim’s financial accounts through unknown means. LOSS: U.S currency.

• 4-13-21, unknown time to 5-13-21, 7:39 PM, 1100 Block of Fairview. Suspect(s) make an unauthorized transaction from victim’s financial account through unknown means. LOSS: U.S currency.

• 5-15-21, 6:04 PM, 1100 Block of Buena Vista. Suspect(s) make an unauthorized transaction from victim’s financial account through unknown means.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

  • 5-12-21, 6:00 PM to 5-13-21, 12:00 PM, 1500 Block of Oak (storage locker). Suspect(s) pries open storage locker and takes loss. LOSS: Various snow clothing and snow gear.

POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA

  • 5-15-21, 8:49 AM, 100 Block of Cedar Crest. Officers respond to the location regarding a suspicious person and locate a subject who is found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Hispanic, 34 years, South Pasadena.

TRESPASSING

• 5-10-21, 5:43 PM, 400 Block of Fair Oaks (Starbucks). Suspect enters store and refuses to leave. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Female, Asian, 45 years, transient.

• 5-11-21, 12:42 PM, 900 Block of Fair Oaks (Rite Aid). Suspect enters store after previously being told not to return. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Female, Asian, 45 years, transient.

• 5-12-21, 7:47 AM, 900 Block of Fair Oaks (Starbucks). Suspect enters store after previously being told not to return. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Hispanic, 31 years, Covina.

• 5-14-21, 11:25 PM, 1100 Block of Oxley. Suspect enters victim’s rear yard without permission and refuse to leave. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Hispanic, 25 years, Los Angeles.

EXTORTION

  • 5-11-21, 8:00 AM, 1700 Block of Foothill. Suspect and victim engage in conversation via an online platform. Suspect then requests U.S currency in order to not release victim’s personal photos to social media sites.

VANDALISM

  • 5-12-21, 11:00 AM to 5-13-21, 5:06 AM, 900 Block of Lyndon, ’12 Honda Civic. Suspect(s) shatter driver’s side window of victim’s vehicle.

PUBLIC INTOXICATION

  • 5-15-21, 4:22 PM, Mission and Fair Oaks. Officers respond to a subject walking in and out of the street. Subject is found to be under the influence of alcohol and unable to care for herself. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Female, White, 47 years, Tarzana.

May 18 – 24, 2021

THEFT

• 4-22-21, 8 AM to 4-27-21, 6 PM, 1900 Block of Winding Lane. Suspect(s) opens victim’s parcel package and takes loss. LOSS: Apple watch.

• 5-18-21, unknown time, 700 block of Orange Grove. Suspect(s) opens victim’s parcel package and takes loss. LOSS: Ring.

• 5-16-21, 5PM to 5-17-21, 1 PM, 200 block of Monterey. ’07, Honda CRV. Suspect(s) cut and remove loss from victim’s vehicle. LOSS: Catalytic Converter.

FRAUD

5-3-21, 6 AM to 6:10 AM, 900 Block of Fair Oaks. Suspect(s) gains access to victim’s debit card account and makes an unauthorized withdrawal.

5-6-21 to 5-10-21, 2000 block of Meridian. Suspect(s) gains access to victim’s credit card rewards program and uses victim’s rewards.

5-3-21, 600 block of Prospect. Suspect(s) gains access to victim’s bank account and makes several wire transfers.

STOLEN VEHICLE

  • 5-18-21, 2 PM to 5-19-21, 3:57 AM, 1700 Block of Meridian. ’90, Toyota Camry.

RECOVERED STOLEN VEHICLE

  • 5-23-21, 11:37 PM, 200 Block of Monterey. ’03, Chevy Express. Officer discovered a parked vehicle with a smashed window. Vehicle found to be a stolen vehicle.

WARRANT ARREST

  • 5-22-21, 3 PM, Bank/Marengo. Officers respond to a subject following female juveniles. Officers locate subject who is found to have outstanding warrants. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Hispanic, 39 years, transient.

DRIVING ON A SUSPENDED LICENSE

  • 5-18-21, 8 AM, 700 block of Fair Oaks. Suspect is stopped for a traffic violation and found to be driving on a suspended license. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Hispanic, 33 years, Anaheim.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

  • 5-18-21, 9:30 PM, 300 Block of Camino Verde. Suspect(s) smashes a rear window to gain entry and takes loss. LOSS: Leather bags, clothes, jewelry, computer components, cash and Chinese antiques. SUSPECT VEHICLE: Light colored, 4-door, compact vehicle, possibly a ’13-’15, Nissan Sentra. SUSPECTS DESCRIPTION: (3) suspects (one was a driver), wearing hooded sweat jackets and face mask.

POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA

  • 5-20-21, 11:25 AM, 100 Block of Monterey. Officers respond to a subject jumping over a wall into victim’s property. Officers locate subject who is found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and methamphetamine. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, White, 22 years, transient.

AUTO BURGLARY

• 5-22-21, 2:20 PM to 2:45 PM, 400 Block of Fair Oaks. ’85, Mercedes. Suspect(s) smashes window to victim’s vehicle to gain entry and takes loss. LOSS: Backpack.

• 5-17-21, 3 PM to 3:15 PM, 400 block of Fair Oaks. ’19, Honda CRV. Suspect(s) smashes window to victim’s vehicle to gain entry and takes loss. Suspect(s) immediately uses victim’s credit card to make an unauthorized purchase. LOSS: Purse.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY

  • 5-21-21, 9 PM to 5-22-21, 8:30 AM, 1000 Block of Fremont (office). Suspect(s) smashes window to gain entry and takes loss. LOSS: Laptop.

TRESPASSING

  • 5-10-21, 5:39 PM, 400 Block of Fair Oaks (Starbucks). Suspect enters store after being told previously not to return. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Female, Asian, 45 years, transient.

THEFT

• 5-31-21, 10:30 AM, 2000 Block of Milan. ’03, Jeep Cherokee. Suspect(s) cut and remove loss from victim’s vehicle. LOSS: Catalytic converter.

• 5-31-21, 7:55 PM, 1100 block of Fair Oaks (Vons). Suspect enters store and places loss inside a shopping basket. Suspect then exits store without paying for loss. LOSS: Groceries (recovered). SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Hispanic, 34 years, transient.

• 5-30-21, 7 PM, 1500 block of Rollin. ’05, Kia Sorento. Victim hears noises and sees suspect under victim’s vehicle. Victim confronts suspect and suspect runs to a waiting vehicle and drives away. LOSS: None, attempt of catalytic converter. SUSPECT VEHICLE: Black, Honda Civic with damage to rear bumper. SUSPECTS DESCRIPTION: S1 – Male, Hispanic, wearing dark clothing and a red hat. S2 (driver) – Male, Hispanic.

• 5-24-21, 5 PM to 5-25-21, 9:30 AM, 1200 block of Huntington. Suspect(s) pries open apartment mailbox and takes loss. LOSS: Mail.

• 3-15-21, 7:40 PM to 4-4-21, 7:40 PM, 1600 block of Raymond Hill. Suspect(s) enters victim’s patio and takes loss. LOSS: (2) bicycles.

• 5-23-21, 5 PM to 5-25-21, 10 AM, 1200 block of Beech. ’04, Honda CRV. Suspect(s) cut and removes loss from victim’s vehicle. LOSS: Catalytic converter.

STOLEN VEHICLE

• 5-28-21, 5:30 PM to 5-29-21, 9 AM, 800 Block of Kendall. ’17, Hyundai Sonata.

• 5-25-21, 8 PM to 5-26-21, 1:15 PM, 1700 block of Huntington. ’18, Kia Soul.

FRAUD

• 5-27-21, 800 block of Lyndon. Victim receives a call from suspect posing as an Amazon Security Team and claims victim’s account has been breached. Suspect asks victim to allow remote access to victim’s computer, which victim allows. Suspect then asks victim to purchase gift cards to assist in catching suspect and victim complies.

• 5-13-21 to 5-25-21, 500 block of Fair Oaks. Victim applies for an online job and suspect makes a direct deposit into victim account. Suspect ask victim to send money to a third person and victim believes she may be being scammed.

KIDNAPPING

  • 5-29-21, 12:50 PM, 1200 block of Fair Oaks. Victim finishes pumping gas into vehicle when suspect enters victim’s vehicle and asks for a ride. Victim felt scared and complied driving suspect around LA. Suspect walks into a store in LA and victim drives away. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male, Black, 506, 120, short black hair, wearing blue shirt and light colored shorts and carrying a drill and a black box.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

• 5-26-21, 6:30 PM to 5-27-21, 7 PM, 1100 block of Oxley (garage). Suspect(s) pries hasp off with a pick axe to gain entry. Suspect(s) leaves behind pick axe (recovered) and takes loss. LOSS: Bicycle.

5-27-21, 12 PM, 1000 block of Glendon Way (garage). Suspect enters victim’s unlocked garage and takes loss. Witness sees suspect exiting carrying loss. LOSS: Pick axe. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male, Hispanic, 30 years, wearing a dark baseball hat, dark jersey and dark pants.

TRANSPORTATION FOR SALES

  • 5-27-21, 3 PM, Ramona/Stewart, Baldwin Park. Suspect is stopped for a traffic violation and police K9 discovers narcotics inside suspect vehicle. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Hispanic, 61 years, Baldwin Park.

AUTO BURGLARY

  • 5-28-21, 10:45 PM, 400 Block of Fair Oaks. Suspect is seen in prior auto burglaries through surveillance videos. Officer sees suspect in parking lot, possibly casing for victims. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Black, 58, Pasadena.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY

• 5-28-21, 4:20 PM, 1300 Block of Huntington (T-Mobile). Suspects enters store and forcefully remove loss from display shelf. LOSS: Apple phones. SUSPECT VEHICLE: Silver Nissan Altima. SUSPECTS DESCRIPTION: S1 – Male, Black, 20 years, 506-507, 185, wearing a gray hoodie with red box logo on the chest, black sweatpants and blue face mask. S2 – Male, Black, 20 years, 508, 180, wearing a black hoodie, gray sweatpants with “Adidas” logo and a blue face mask. S3 – Male, Black, 20 years, 601, 180, wearing a yellow hoodie, gray sweatpants and a blue face mask.

• 5-27-21, 4 AM, 1100 block of Mission (Tomato Pie). Suspect(s) smashes glass door, activating alarm and flees without making entry. LOSS: None.

VANDALISM

  • 5-26-21, 5 PM to 5-27-21, 8 AM, 900 block of Fair Oaks (Bank of America). Suspect(s) damages glass door to business.

DUI

  • 5-26-21, 7 PM, 800 block of Stratford. Suspect is stopped for a traffic violation and is found to be driving under the influence of alcohol. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Hispanic, 24 years, Los Angeles.
